Wellness Foundation chooses the breathtaking Quinta Mimosa as setting to this retreat. This is a perfect spot for yoga and relaxation, providing guests from a place removed from the quick pace of normal life, but still close to beaches and other attractions. Still guests can choose to stay surrounded by the beauty of the area while lounging next to the pool.

Mark Thomas has created a weeklong program designed to introduce attendees to the ways in which the right combination of yoga and Pilates can lead to a fuller, healthier, happier, and longer life. The positions and movements tone, strengthen, and align core stabilizing muscles. People rehabilitating from pre or postnatal stress, back and postural problems or simply looking to enhance their quality of life and performance will find these sessions ideal.

MATAIP (Modified techniques to keep the system clear)

MATAIP yoga Pilates has roots in Hatha, Ashtanga, and Iyengar, martial arts, and more and can produce amazing results with diligent practice. MATAIP coaching yoga and pilates is not only a session.     Mark Anthony Thomas has been teaching, studying, observing, and correcting in sessions for over twenty years. Mark has studied training and development, yoga, Pilates, reflexology, MATAIP deep tissue massage, hypnotherapyand NLP, stress management, O.C.R exercise to music teacher and counseling.

Quinta Mimosa, Loule, Algarve, Portugal is a ten acre estate of almond, olive, and orange trees, set in the mountains above Almancil. It's located seven kilometers from the beach and twenty minutes from Faro airport; boasting beautiful blue skies and temperatures above twenty degrees and out-doors swimming. With beaches and attractions nearby.

If you really get in to it and you continue to work on yourself, this becomes not just a session you do so many times a week, it becomes a way of life.     "Mark is a fabulous pilates teacher. I have attended his classes for over 12 years and through two pregnancies. He is brilliant for beginners through to advanced and for all ages. He is clear, precise, very knowledgable and all this is delivered with a healthy dash of uplifting humour.     "Attending Mark's Yoga classes for nearly a month now… the BEST yoga class I have ever been to. Always tried yoga classes at the gym etc. for about 3 GBP and never felt the benefit always left at the back of a class of about 30 and no help or guidance given… However with Mark's class I walk out feeling amazing and distressed, already feeling the difference. Mark corrects you when wrong and always give advice and guidance for general health and well being. Well worth the money and won't waste my time with other yoga classes…. Very very happy customer!"
