Rossie Ochil House is a beautiful building dating back to the 17th century. Modernized to a high standard and surrounded by stunning lawns and woodlands, the house offers great privacy and wonderful walks across the estate. You have the option to choose between a shared twin room or a private room. Please note that the private rooms are only a few. All bedrooms are en-suite.

There will be five yoga sessions during the weekend, a combination of Vinyasa practice to invigorate you in the morning and Yin yoga practices to relax you and help you look inwards in the evenings.


Breathing is a very powerful tool which can help you focus, relax and energize. The session will cover a variety of useful techniques.


Meditation is the the best way to calm your mind. It can bring many benefits, including relaxation, building life force, increasing concentration, developing compassion, and dealing with forgiveness. During the weekend, you will explore different types of meditation, from mindfulness, to visualization, to feeling sensations, so you can experience them and choose which one works for you.


Please note that each date will have a theme. For the February 2, 2018 arrival, the theme of the weekend break is Reiki and yoga. Meanwhile, the April 27, 2018 theme will be meditation and yoga.

  • Esmeralda Lopez

    Esmeralda is qualified as a yoga teacher in 2008 and has been teaching ever since. She teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga but she has a very open mind to all styles and believes that different types of yoga fit with the various stages of life. There’s no wrong or right way, her aim is simply to make people feel opened and relaxed by the end of the class. According to her, you are your best teacher and her job is just to pass on her yoga knowledge to help you build your own practice in a safe manner.

This yoga retreat takes place in Scotland.

The focus for the weekend is digestive support. A healthy gut is key to a healthy body and mind. All meals are gluten free and cow’s dairy free.

Every afternoon there will be free time, giving you the perfect occasion to explore the beautiful surroundings and engage with nature, listening from within your silent mind.


Esme Lopez is a Reiki master as well as a yoga teacher and will be on hand during the weekend offering sessions at an additional cost. Reiki is energy work, passing energy from the universe into the patients to find balance.
