If you want to progress and surf on the outside and catch the best waves, you need more lessons.
Usually four to five days of surf are sufficient to learn the basics and be able to adventure out alone and learn to surf in the outside. However, also the number of days depends on several factors, for example, physical conditions, surfing, wind, tides, etc.
Start the day with a yoga session on the beach. Return refreshed and ready for a day of surfing, with a great breakfast in the breakfast room, around 9:00 a.m. As soon as possible, Wavesensation's team will prepare the plan for the day and indicate the surfing destination of that day. You will leave around 10:00 a.m. to the beach with better conditions, where we will start with a short introduction and warm up.
After one and a half to two hours in the water, it's lunchtime. After this pause, the second class of the day will begin. At the end of the day, you will be tired and your level of endorphins will be very high, so it's time to go back from the beach and have a nice bath.
Usually, the team organizes night walks to the typical restaurants of Sagres, where everyone is welcome. At the dinner, you will have several choices, from a big barbecue, to a dinner with the whole team in the several fresh fish restaurants in Sagres. Everyone is invited to join in, even if you are traveling alone, you will always have the company of everyone from day one.
After an excellent dinner, depending on your energy, it's time for a drink at the bars in the center or rest for the next day's surf! Halfway through your stay, you can try a pause in surfing and explore Sagres, book one extra activity or simply enjoy relaxing.
Every Thursday, the group will be gathered and go to the most southwestern point of Europe (Cabo de So Vicente) to see the sunset, the unique moment you want to share with everyone. On the last day of the course, usually Fridays, it's time to review the whole week and share all the emotions with the other participants, so you will gather for a barbecue, where everyone is welcome.
