The Journey - Day by Day (meals included: B=breakfast/L=lunch/D=dinner)
We welcome you at the airport and take you to the hotel in the bustling city of Kathmandu. Welcome dinner will be around 19.00 where the group will meet and we will have a little introduction round.
We start the morning with yoga before breakfast. After breakfast there will be a briefing about the trek and the upcoming route to explore Nepal. After this there is some time off to explore the area of Thamel which we are located in, go for lunch on one of the many restaurants. We will pick you up at the hotel around 2 PM for some afternoon explorations. Starting with a visit to Boudha we will thereafter explore the monkey temple, and enjoy our traditional Newari dinner in Kritipur, the first settlement in Kathmandu. We are having two nights here to adjust to the altitude as Kathmandu is approximately 1350 meters above sea level.
We are starting our journey very early to avoid the morning traffic jam in Kathmandu. As we have a long drive ahead of us to reach Khangjim (around 7 - 9 hours), we will leave the hotel at 06 AM. We are bringing a simple breakfast to be enjoyed on the bumpy ride and will stop for lunch on the way. If the weather is clear we can enjoy the views of the mountains as the Himalayas are showing their snowy peaks to us. We will arrive in Syabru Besi in the afternoon, from there it will be a couple of hours walk to reach the beautiful little settlement of Sherpagong where we will enjoy a relaxing evening yoga session and a well-deserved dinner. Our first night immerged in nature before the adventure into the valley begins.
After yoga and breakfast, we head off on our route that will merge with the more popular Langtang route. Even though we are on the main route we have created this itinerary in a way to avoid the big crowds. We will have some stops along the way for snacks/lunch, finding our way through a forest before reaching the tea house we will spend the night in. Here we will enjoy a well-deserved rest, having our evening meal and head off to bed early.
After our morning yoga we start todays short walk to Mundu, moving our way into high altitude we will meet a roughed landscape and have the privilege of glaciers appearing in closer horizon. A short walk today to enjoy a small afternoon walk exploring the village and a relaxing evening yoga session.
After yoga and breakfast, we are crossing small streams entering further into the valley with views becoming more spectacular as the valley is slowly opening. From Kyanjin Gompa we can enjoy a panoramic view over Dor-je Lakpa (6990 m), Langtang Ri (6370 m), Langtang Lirung (7245 m) and many other peaks. Here you can choose to rest in the afternoon or you can embark on a smaller walk around the village or simply just rest and indulge in some yummy pastries and coffee in the small bakeries. We go to bed early as we will have a very early start the next morning.
Starting very early today if you want to reach Kyanjin Ri, it’s around 4 - 6 hrs. We start 6 in the morning to reach the top before the wind picks up as it is an airy path to the peak. Remember to use your walking sticks! In the afternoon we walk down to Mundu, ending the day with a calming, relaxing yoga session before ending another amazing day feeling the energy of the mountains.
Our long journey back down begins after a very early morning yoga session. Remember to use your walking sticks! A long hard day walking down, but with the higher levels of oxygen in the lower altitude will hopefully fuel you with new energy!
We are starting the day early as we are now ready for new adventures. After a short walk our vehicle will be waiting to take us to Pokhara. We will stop for lunch on the way and arriving in the evening in our hotel in Pokhara. Depending on the time, we might have a relaxing evening session creating some movements in our bodies after the long driver to reach Pokhara. After this, the evening will be at your disposal to do whatever you feel like. Walk around the village, find your favorite restaurant and enjoy the food selection after some days with mountains meals or join us at one of our favorite spots.
We start with morning yoga with a view to the lake to set the energy of the day. Then its allllllll up to you. Pokhara has many activities to choose from, maybe you want to bungee? Experience paragliding over the lake? Maybe you want to eat your way through the many cafes and indulge in some reading or talking to strangers? Maybe you want to go to the temples in the area, or explore the cave of Mahindra? This is a day you can shape into whatever you want! We will gather for dinner to share the days adventures.
After our morning yoga looking out over the lake, there is time for you to go out and have breakfast wherever you want before we head to the paddle boat. We will journey across the lake before hiking up to see the beautiful view to the Annapurna range and take in the vibes of the peace pagoda. Lunch will be served in the
little village of Sedi by our friend Gita with veggies from her own garden.
After morning yoga we will have our breakfast and head down towards Siddha Gufa, the second largest cave in south east Asia. Onwards to Chitwan, with its jungle vibes and amazing sunsets. Explore the little village nearby or spend the evening gazing into the national park and you might spot some wildlife.
Starting the day early again to up our chances for some wildlife spotting. We are in a very different climate this morning. From and Alpine ecosystem in Langtang we are now in a tropical climate. After breakfast we get ready for our canoe and walking safari in the jungles of Chitwan. In the afternoon we have a jeep safari to explore deeper parts of the jungle. There will be the option to have an evening yoga session by the river in the evening and after this you can explore the many restaurants in the area, or join us for our dinner spot.
After morning yoga, we leave the tranquil atmosphere of the jungles behind and prepare for the long drive back to Kathmandu. The big city with its many impressions is waiting for us. We return back to our little hide away guesthouse. Depending on the traffic it might be some time explore the city before our farewell dinner in the evening.
The last yoga session together before breakfast and farewell. Are you staying longer? Don’t hesitate to ask about advice for activities and places to see!

Kathmandu is the capital and the biggest city of Nepal. In spite of the chaotic infrastructure, Kathmandu has a lot of beautiful architecture, important pilgrimage sights, lots of ancient knowledge, and so many of UNESCO's world heritage sights.
Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to conquer Everest once said; "It's not the mountain we conquer but ourselves". When exploring the path into the remote and spectacular Valley of Langtang, the highlights are many; cultural aspects, the daily life of Tamang people, the ethnic group residing in Langtang valley, traditional villages, gompas, monasteries and not to mention the landscapes.
From dense rhododendron and pine forest to snow-covered peaks and glaciers. Surrounded by peaceful Himalayan giants; Langtang Ri, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpha, Ganesh Himal Range, Gang Chenpo, Yala Peak, and Langshisha Ri among others.
Pokhara, the city of lakes, is the second largest city in Nepal and offers a beautiful view of the Annapurna mountain range. In spite of its size, it feels like a village when staying by Phewa, with the sun setting over the lake and you chilling in a tiny café watching the dogs playing and cows walking around.
Chitwan National Park is known for its biodiversity. Its dense forests and grassy plains are home to rare mammals like one-horned rhinos, sloth bears, leopards, deer, wild boars, Bengal tigers, and more. The park shelters numerous bird species, including the giant hornbill. Dugout canoes traverse the northern Rapti River, home to crocodiles.
