Arrive in Auckland, The City of Sails. You will be welcomed to NZ by your guide. From here you will be transferred to your central hotel. Auckland is a beautiful city and regularly voted one of the best lifestyle cities in the world. Set on the shores of the Waitemata Harbor (meaning ‘sparkling waters’ in the Maori language).
New Zealand’s largest city boasts a diverse Pacific Rim and European cultural mix with opportunities to sample outstanding restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. This afternoon you will have a guided yoga session with Gloria at the hotel. Tonight, you will take a trip to the top of the Auckland Skytower and view the City of Sails from above.
At 328 meters, the Sky Tower is the tallest man-made structure in New Zealand and offers breath-taking views for up to 80 kilometers in every direction. This was built in the late 90s. There are 2 viewing options - The Sky Deck at 220m and the observation deck at 186m. You will dine at the Orbit 360 Restaurant atop the Sky Tower, a truly iconic New Zealand brasserie offering diners sensational views - and food to match. The dining room rotates once every hour, providing a truly unique experience with amazing 360-degree panoramas of the city, the Hauraki Gulf and beyond.
Enjoy breakfast at your leisure at the hotel. Due to the 14-hour plane ride and time change, Walker Wellness Retreat is sure you will be tired. This morning you will have a guided yoga session with Gloria at the hotel. You will have lunch on your own.
You will have plenty of recommendations for you near your accommodation! In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up from the hotel to enjoy a city walking tour of Auckland. This evening there will be plenty of options for dinner which can be booked in advance by our reservations team.
This morning you will reconnect to the natural world on the 2-hour Ra Karakia Sunrise Tour at Bastion Point. For Maori, reconnecting to the natural world is an important part of daily life, and this ceremony, done for thousands of years, continues to be performed daily at dawn when the living world comes to life and the spirit world fades into silence.
Your guide or Kaiarahi will welcome you onto Takaparawhau to take part in the celebration of a new day. As the sun comes up, the female caller Kaikaranga blows the carved wooden horn putatara, making a sound that travels across the Waitemata Harbour toward the Mighty Sun, or Tama-Nui-Te-Ra.
It’s an ancient ceremony that brings forth karakia (blessing) at the start of another day. Take part in the final component of the ceremony considered very important in elevating the sacredness of welcoming the sun and acknowledging the Earth. From here, join your Kaiarahi for breakfast in the Wharekai or eating house at the marae, the Maori tribal meeting house. This culmination blesses you with good fortune as you go on your way and continue your journey of New Zealand feeling refreshed physically and spiritually.
In the afternoon, your journey takes you to the Auckland's West Coast and Rain forest Walk (12: 30 pm to 5:30 pm). Waitakere Ranges Regional Park offers breath-taking panoramic views from the Tasman Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Absorb the area's history and admire the magnificent traditional Maori carvings that stand guard there. Continue further west with your knowledgeable and highly experienced guide to the wild and rugged West Coast where you get to experience the isolation of the area.
You then get the opportunity to visit a magnificent West Coast beach with its black sand. For lunch, you will stop at a scenic location before moving to an area of untouched original rain forest with mature 1000-year-old kauri trees. Your guide will explain everything about the native flora and fauna as you walk among New Zealand's famous kauri trees and native birds. This evening there will be plenty of options for dinner which can be booked in advance by our reservations team.
Following breakfast at your hotel this morning your guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Queenstown, New Zealand’s Adventure Capital! Queenstown is a beautiful town located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by the magnificent Southern Alps. It is said to be New Zealand's most celebrated destination. Your guide will pick you up from the hotel for an excursion to the Queenstown Gondola. The Skyline is reached by Gondola cableway which whisks you smoothly up 1476 feet as Queenstown drops away below.
Breathtaking views from the top extend almost full circle, from Coronet Peak around to The Remarkables and on to Cecil and Walter Peaks on the other side of beautiful Lake Wakatipu. You will enjoy a scrumptious lunch atop the hill in the exclusive Stratosfare restaurant with breathtaking views over Lake Wakatipu across to The Remarkables. Afternoon option - Bob Coves Walkway. Guided yoga session with Gloria at the hotel. This evening you will have the freedom to have dinner on your own, we will have plenty of recommendations for you.

Come for an invigorating guided walk into the beautiful New Zealand backcountry and discover what really makes New Zealand different: every step has a story to fascinate and astound you. The 'Lakeshore Forest & Bird' guided walk is a unique nature interpretive experience taken at a leisurely pace through native beech forest, with an afternoon tea/coffee on the lake-shore to the sounds of native bird calls and surrounded by majestic mountains.
This half-day guided walk combines the best of native flora and fauna with magnificent lake and mountain views. This evening there will be plenty of options for dinner which can be booked in advance by our reservations team.
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today is free to explore Queenstown at leisure and take part in some of the fantastic activities that this ‘Adventure Capital of the World’ has to offer. There will be an option for a full day Routeburn Track guided walk - make your way on this great walk in Mount Aspiring National Park along the gradual ascent through the 130-million-year-old magical world of ferns, mosses, lichens, and beech forest. Explore forgotten paths of the Maori, as you travel along their old greenstone trails, finding new enchantment around each corner, where native birds abound.
This walk is often described as being "far better than the Milford Track". Alternative options for the adventurous include: skydiving, bungy jumping, jet boating, canyon swings, white water rafting, flyboarding, paragliding, or a Milford sound scenic flight (all activities optional - extra cost).

Today is a further free day to explore Queenstown at leisure and take part in some of the fantastic activities that this ‘Adventure Capital of the World’ has to offer. You will have the option of going on the Arrow River Trail Half Day tour or have a free day to explore Queenstown.
For the adventurous, your four-hour supported adventure biking the Queenstown Trails begins at 9 a.m. with a pick up from the hotel. Your guide will take you on a scenic drive through to the historic gold mining village of Arrow town to the start of the Arrow River trail. Here you will start your ride along the beautiful Arrow River gorge till it meets the confluence of the Kawarau River, joining the original miner's trail that crosses the famous Kawarau suspension bridge, home of the original Kawarau Bungy.
At the end of your bike ride, you will be transferred to a Gibbston winery for a relaxing cheese and wine tasting visit. Return transfer back to the hotel provided. This evening you will have a guided yoga session with Gloria at the hotel. This evening is free for leisure.
Following breakfast at your hotel this morning you will be transferred from Queenstown to escape to the peace and tranquillity of Doubtful Sound on a magical overnight cruise. Doubtful Sound is unspoiled, unmatched and unforgettable. So get ready to create some lifelong memories as the Fiordland Navigator takes you through the ultimate experience.
Practically untouched by man; the physical grandeur of towering peaks descending into the water, outstanding waterfalls from high-up ice-age valleys and fjords clad with ancient vegetation, create a powerful atmosphere of solitude and serenity. Cruising amidst Doubtful Sound's towering peaks and bush-clad islands is awe-inspiring! There is plenty of time on your overnight cruise to enjoy the stunning views and to discover the hidden arms of Doubtful Sound.
Fur seals and bottlenose dolphins are often seen and at times, rare penguins can be observed. There is also time for you to kayak around the shoreline or go exploring in the tender craft with our nature guide. Doubtful Sound is the deepest of all fjords. A haven with its ancient rain forest and abundant wildlife it is quite simple and unquestionably breathtaking.
This afternoon you will return to Queenstown from your cruise at approximately 3:30 p.m. From here, you will have the afternoon to explore Queenstown. Late afternoon you will have a guided yoga session with Gloria at the hotel. This evening dine as a group for dinner to farewell your adventure.

Glenorchy journeys full-day Routeburn track guided walk and lunch. It costs 315.00 USD per adult. The Routeburn trail is another must for anyone who likes to hike. This will be a full day- an 8-hour hike through spectacular scenery.
Shotover Jet which costs 155.00 USD per adult. This can be booked directly through the front desk and they will pick you up right from the dock at the hotel.
Milford Sound Scenic Flight (1 hour) which costs 415 USD per adult. Gloria would highly recommend booking this scenic flight. Milford Sound is a must for any visitor to NZ.
