Experience deep healing with this profound yoga retreat in Santa Maria del Oro, Mexico! Through this retreat, you will acquire inner peace and learn different techniques to incorporate into your daily practice with essential yoga which includes yoga, acupressure, and aromatherapy with essential oil. In addition, you will be surrounded by nature in front of the volcanic lagoon and enjoy vegan food that will make this experience holistic. Enjoy the lagoon and the nearby waterfalls during your excursion. Arrive one day before the practice starts and have an evening to yourself after the activities are over in order to integrate the experience.
On this retreat, you will be staying in two villas of Casa Los Mangos, which are located directly on the lake, on sharing basis. Double rooms with private bathrooms and dorm rooms with a shared bathroom are available. The villas are spacious and there is enough space to feel at home and find a comfortable place to relax during the free time.
The volcanic lagoon is located inside a crater, so Wi-Fi is not available. Volcan Laguna is happy about this since most of the participants have stated that this lack of internet has given them the time and freedom to go within and heal without any outside disruptions.

This practice blends the ancient wisdom of yoga, the effective and profound effects of acupressure, and the healing and transformative physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual power of pure YoungLiving essential oils. You will learn the essential yoga self-practice techniques for a healthy spine, chakra balancing, and physical and emotional detox.
When you finish this retreat, you will have the tools and techniques for creating effective practices that support your overall health. You will also be able to safely incorporate more than 10 pure YoungLiving essential oils in your yoga practice and daily life, as well as knowing where and how to use acupressure and essential oils for headaches, insomnia, stiffness, stress, indigestion, constipation, back pain, balancing the energy in your body, support for your emotional health, and some surprises.
You will visit two waterfalls near the volcanic lagoon. This short hike will be followed by a guided meditation in one of the waterfalls. You will connect with the water element and let your energies flow with the waterfall and the volcanic lagoon. You will enjoy a picnic right next to the lagoon.

Cathy studied and has continued studying yoga, AcroYoga, Prenatal yoga, Thai massage, prana healing, Reiki, a course of miracles, acupressure, and aromatherapy. Today, she feels the drive to share a synergic variety of techniques which will support you in your overall well-being as you integrate these practices into your daily life.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Yoga)
Moni Cuevas. Architect. Curiosity for natural healing methods led her to be trained in various alternative therapies, nutrition, naturism, Bach flowers, reflexology, among others. Later, yoga came to her life along with meditation and aromatherapy. Since then, a new direction has been set in her life, undertaking a trip to the interior with techniques such as Tibetan Buddhist meditation and philosophy, bio-neuro-emotion, and aroma freedom technique. Learning all of these in different parts of Mexico, India, Bali, and Nepal. Her training is as a yoga instructor (RYT 200 Yoga Alliance).
This retreat will take place in the volcanic lagoon of Santa Maria del Oro, Nayarit. Nayarit's coast with Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita resort areas is well known. The volcanic lagoon is located inland and allows you to see more of the mountain areas and water bodies in Nayarit, Mexico. The lagoon is also not far from the Guadalajara International Airport (GDL).
Exquisite vegan food for all the three meals will be served for you during the retreat. Snacks and fruits will also be offered during breaks. Volcan Laguna's goal is to inspire you towards eating healthy meals and eating meals based on compassion towards other living beings. For this and many other ethical, environmental, and health reasons, Volcan Laguna chooses to offer only vegan food.
Please book your flight to arrive at Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) or Guadalajara International Airport (GDL). Transfer from and to the Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) is included. The organizer will pick you up from this airport.
From any of these airports, you can take a bus towards the city of Tepic and from there, Volcan Laguna could arrange a private cab to take you to the lagoon. Many participants of the retreats enjoy sharing their cars in carpools. As soon as Volcan Laguna knows who is taking part in the retreat, they can also hook you up with a space in a car. It is very simple and familiar.
