You will be accommodated in a guest house during the retreat, single room, shared bathroom room and toilet on different floors.

Program

Start with Pranayama (breath-work) and Vinyasa (flow yoga) in the morning and prepare to go hiking or sightseeing after breakfast. Various activities on each day depend on the weather, physical conditions, and personal preferences. Short trips within one hour to climb to the top with fantastic panorama fjords view.

Sightseeing at the Norwegian international scenic area, immersed in surrounding mountains with a stunning view over the valley.

What to expect?

  • PNF stretching was designed to relax muscles and increase tone or activity.
  • Trigger Point Therapy and Deep Tissue Massage, focus on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones, and joints), prevent and even heal injuries.
  • Yin yoga practices in the evening, to soften the muscle and help regulate the flow of energy in the body, as a good recovery in the middle of the itinerary.
  • Restorative yoga involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest after a long day of travel.

Ålesund is a city on the west coast of Norway, at the entrance to the Geirangerfjord. It is known for the art nouveau architectural style in which most of the town was rebuilt after a fire in 1904, as documented at the Jugendstilsenteret museum. There are panoramic views of Ålesund’s architecture, the surrounding archipelago and fjords from the Mount Aksla lookout, the city is now the home base for Norway's largest cod-fishing fleet, and it's an attractive, lively place and unsurprisingly has some superb seafood to try.
