Ilse Marie is an advanced yoga and meditation teacher 500RYT. She has followed various teacher training courses, including a master's degree as a yoga teacher in India and she teaches yoga, meditation and coaching courses in three languages to beginners, advanced students, seniors, and children. Ilse developed her own style which is a mix of Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, (Vinyasa) Flow, Restorative and Kundalini yoga. Her classes are a combination of meditation and relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, sun salutations, Vinyasa flow variations, and Asanas.
Jane is an E-200RYT + 500RYT yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance certified) from the Netherlands. She lived in Amsterdam for most of her life and worked as a producer in advertising. She practised yoga for over 15 years and has been teaching for years. After her two yoga teacher training courses (both in India), she decided to leave her job in advertising and follow her heart and passion for yoga full time. Since then, she has been teaching and traveling around the world and also organizes retreats. She mainly practices Vinyasa and Yin yoga herself and sometimes also Ashtanga.

I can nothing but recommend Viva la Vida, Ilse and Jane and this place at anytime. It was absolutly fabouluse. They are amazing teacher, and very warm and lovely people. The place is amazing, the food is amazing
Will recommend it to anybody thinking of teacher training og retreats - this will not be my last teacher training

"First time to Andalucia was awesome"
Ilse is a lovely person and created a warm, fun and friendly atmosphere. The retreat location was great and the food was outstanding (thanks Sound Chef!). I loved the different activities and going out every day to see the local region. Everything was well organised and there was enough free time to enjoy the pools or visit the local village. The retreat attracted a very nice group of people who all got on very well. I would thoroughly recommend this yoga holiday.

"A relaxing, inspiring and healing week."
I liked the combination of trips to the beach, yoga, and other activities such as SUP, kayak, hiking and the cooking class. I enjoyed the variations of the yoga classes and there was just enough time to relax in between activities. I especially loved the delicious and nutritious food that was served by Tiziana. The anti-inflammatory food did wonders for my psoriasis and inspiered me to make changes in my diet.

"A wonderful experience"
This was my first TTC, and I must say I loved every minute of it.. the teachers were great, each with her own style. We learned so much, both theoretically and practically, with a lot of practical exercises, done outside in nature when the weather permitted. Learning about adjustments, how to teach (we started practicing "teaching" our fellow participants very early on), anatomy, things to watch out for, etc. The location was lovely, surrounded by mountains, the facilities and accommodations were really nice as well, the vegan food prepared by the kind-hearted chef was always tasty and nutritious, who had to work hard to prepare so much food for 18 to 20 people, 2 times a day for 3 weeks! And last but not least, all the participants, including the teachers, host and chef, were so lovely and friendly, with open-hearts, compassionate and just beautiful souls! I love each and every one of them. One of the best experience of my life.. thank you all for this, and with the best of wishes..

"This is the YTT you need to do"
This was the most amazing experience! If you're thinking about doing a YTT, I highly recommend this one. All three teachers complemented each other very well. The whole group bonded and shared personal stories instantly, which goes to show the safe environment that the teachers created from day one. It may seem like there is a lot listed under what you learn and do, but we truly did touch on all those topics. And you start teaching from the first day so you get plenty of practice and feel confident by the end of the 3 weeks. The teachers were also open to feedback, and were flexible with the schedule. It is also limited to a small group, so you get individual attention throughout the YTT. You also get a mentor assigned to you who you can go to for anything. Ilse, Jane and Hannah provided so much support to everyone in so many different ways, and they continue to do so after the YTT. I am so truly grateful to all of them. And the food was so delicious (and healthy) - Alejandro, Laura and Tiziana are geniuses! And Almu, the owner of the farmhouse, is the most generous and kind person ever. She will make you feel so welcome. Thank you everyone for making this such a special experience.

I had the best time at this retreat, it was truly magical. You are surrounded by nature: mountains, lakes, sea, birds, dogs (sausage) and cats (Fran). I have learnt a lot of new yoga styles and techniques.
Highlights for me were: the beach yoga, the amazing food, the silent hike, the cafe! Hannah’s magical massage, and meeting a lovely group of people. I went to the retreat stressed and tense and have come back relaxed and positive. Don’t hesitate to book this, it really is paradise.

"A loving oasis in the heart of Andalucía "
What a lovely retreat! You can tell that every activity was planned with care and love. The location has a stunning view, the food was amazing. We learned loads about breathing techniques and we tried different yoga styles. The other activities included (SUP and the walk along the river) were also fabulous.

I liked everything about this experience. Ilse-Marie Soderberg is an excellent teacher and incredibly kind. Her enthusiasm for the process is inspiring. The food prepared by Alejhandro the Chef was amazing. What a wonderful experience in an inspiring setting. I would go back again tomorrow if it were possible!!

"Veelzijdige en ontspannen yoga retreat"
Ilse en Jeroen zitten vol enthousiasme en warmte en zorgen dat iedereen het naar de zin heeft. De kok maakt heerlijk eten in overvloed. En de activiteiten waren zeer veelzijdig. Je kunt heerlijk aan het zwembad liggen, maar je hoeft je niet te vervelen.
