This one-month, level 1, intensive training will be held in beautiful Byron Bay, Australia. The goal of this training is to bring future yoga teachers in a position to teach beginner and intermediate students with responsibility, knowledge, and self-confidence in order to help create a healthier and more peaceful planet Earth.

    You will be staying a stones throw from Belongil Beach, a 5 minutes drive to the Heartspace Studio and a blissful 15 minute beach walk into Byron town.

    ​Everyday for 10 hours in the span of 3 weeks is the general time allocation for the 200-hour teacher training.

    You will receive reading material, including Light on Yoga and BKS Iyengar. You will receive a free 15 minute sun salutation and a preparatory Yoga Asana program will be emailed to help with self practice before the training. Please read `Light on Yoga' by BKS Iyengar and `The Key Muscles of Yoga' by Ray Long for a greater understanding of your training and lineage.

      Russell teaches yoga from his heart and wants you to feel the true integrity of a yoga class and to discover a more authentic yoga experience through his teaching journey and philosophies. He brings with him over 12 years of experience in yoga practice and is in his fifth year of teaching, creating his second teacher training for yoga students who are looking to further their connection to mind, body, and breath. Russell has trained over 2000 hours by Yogacharya Master, Mr. Bharath Shetty who has taught over 50 teacher trainings in Mysore, India.

    Your teacher training will take place near to Byron Bays secluded Belongil Beach.

    All Vita Yoga lunches will be based on a nutritious, vegetarian cuisine. If there are any specific dietary requirements, please notify Vita Yoga and they will happily accommodate.
