"Amazing experience for complete relaxation and refresh"
The feeling Lyuba and Igor left me with was so heart warming. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay is excellent, giving me guidance and advice on things to explore and do. I felt well taken care of and also receiving quality yoga sessions and food. The food was so delicious that I was looking forward to it every morning and evening. All of the staff is lovely and accommodating, will definitely go back:) Thank you!

"Life changing one-week Kundalini Yoga experience"
The accommodation is very comfortable with all the necessities; spacious bungalow with patio, bathroom with shower and hot water, ceiling fan, mosquito nets, electric outlets. Outdoors; swimming pool, leisure areas to relax, dining area, drinking water dispenser. The whole place is designed to feel comfortable but at the same time close to nature, you feel like you are living in a garden with local wild life (monkeys, peacocks, chipmunks, mongooses)
The food is very fresh and 100% homemade, it varies day to day, with local curries and vegetable or fish dishes. Best part about it was that I and my sister didn’t observe any side effects (bloating, gas, and belching), we usually have from normal food, even the one we cook at home - I suppose it was due to the Ayurvedic properties of the served dishes? I'm still very amazed by it!
The owner Igor was always there, available 24/7 to arrange tuktuks, bicycles, give advice where to visit and what to eat. We always felt welcome, safe and well taken care of.
The Yoga was an experience in itself – every day started with a cup of ginger tea and morning Yoga at 7.30 am (afternoon at 5.30 pm) Our Teacher Natalia practices Kundalini Yoga, which was very new to me. Each class was structured around an “issue/question” like for example prosperity, beauty, overcoming your fears. Natalia delivers the lessons in structured and clear way, but without jamming too much information. Also her instructions were very helpful for learning meditation.

The villa is away from the main road but nearby anything you might need such as shops, train station, beach and also a tea plantation worth visiting.
The villa only has a few bungalows so it never gets too crowded and you can relax in a peaceful environment surrounded by the jungle almost all of the time.
The teacher is an experienced yogi who is passionate about her job and her classes where always great, but never the same, never boring.
The food was excellent. Really loved the fact that they prepared simple dishes, cooked in a lighter way, with minimal oil. They use a range of seasonal fruit and vegetables you can find in Sri Lanka, everyday different, always delicious and abundant!
The owners are just lovely people who will go out of their way to make sure you are having a great stay at the villa.

I spent my best Christmas holidays at Villa My Way with Luba, Igor and the other guests. Igor and Luba are really helpful and advise you where to go and what you can visit and do in the area. I recommend to have some massage, go to the tea plantation and to the ayurvedic doctor.
I enjoyed the daily classes with a lovely view from the room.
The homemade food for breakfast and dinner was local and delicious.
I was happy to have my own bungalow, space and privacy to chill out.
I came back to France with a lot of love and positive energy. There is a chance I go back to Villa My Way :).

"Great experience with very friendly people"
Staying at Villa My Way was very relaxing. Even with two yoga classes a day, we had enough time during the day to explore the surroundings. The food was very good. And I appreciated that it was healthy, but also included some treats. Luba and Igor did everything to make us feel welcome. I really enjoyed my stay at Villa My Way!

"Een heel fijne week bij Villa My Way!"
De plek was een oase van rust, Louba (de eigenaresse) was ontzettend lief en echt de beste host die je kan wensen. De yogalerares was ook een ontzettend lief meisje en heel goed in les geven. In ben door haar echt van yoga gaan houden! Mijn ervaring bij Villa My Way was heel positief, het was precies wat ik nodig had om mijn lange reis af te sluiten en ik kom hier ook zeker terug! Oh en het eten was echt fantastisch!

Die Villa My Way bettet sich wundervoll in eine von Palmen gesäumte Umgebung ein. Es wird Wert gelegt auf ein entspanntes und familäres Miteinander. Das Frühstück und Abendessen werden super gesund zubereitet. Ich kann die Villa My Way von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

It was our first experience in a yoga retreat and we can just say, it was great and would highly recommend it. Very good yoga classes with our wonderful teacher Valeria. And no worries if you are not a yogi, there is something for everyone and you can just feel free to do it the way it is best for you. Or not doing anything at all. Delicious and fresh food, every day something different for dinner, the breakfast very fresh. And please do try the ginger tea before the yoga session. Very clean bungalows, the beds have a mosquito net. The villa is surrounded by nature, little monkey jumping on the trees from time to time and all you can hear is just the music of the nature surrounding you. You can really relax and get rested. I also recommend the ayurveda massage. What can I say, thank you Igor and Valeria, for making our holiday just perfect and getting out of all the stress and trouble you have in your daily working life. Namaste.
