Villa Konstantin invites you to join in this wonderful retreat specially designed for you to help your body to be in shape. This fitness, yoga, and weight loss retreat with Haroula Haracopoulos will focus on health and wellness through physical exercise and fun challenges. She aims to develop your physical condition and muscle strength, to activate your metabolism, and of course have lots of laughter!
Villa Konstantin offers an intimate setting close to town, but quietly located, with stunning sunset seas views. It has various types of rooms, from twin rooms to luxury newly-designed rooms. You will be accommodated in single, double, or triple room occupancy basis.
The simple rooms have their own with bathroom, fridge, TV, and Wi-Fi.
The studio rooms have a king sized double bed, bathroom, small kitchen corner, TV, Wi-Fi, terrace, and sea view. The triple studio rooms have their own bathroom, kitchen corner, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, and terrace.
The luxury studio is newly designed, with Jacuzzi spa bath on the terrace with sea view. They have a king-size bed, ultra modern bathroom, large terrace and sea view, TV, and Wi-Fi.
During this weight loss retreat, you will have the opportunity to experience one welcome meeting with the trainer, daily yoga classes, daily full body workout at 7 p.m., beach boot camp, circuit and interval training, training at the running track, TRX camp, and a trip to Delos that includes a workout on one of the most beautiful beaches. You will end your retreat with a fun goodbye party!
The classes will have a great emphasis on the connection with the breath and body, practicing asana with a pranayama technique known as Ujjayi breathing. All core asanas will be explained from the base up, covering proper alignment, rotations, and action in each posture. The goal will not be simply to do yoga, but to learn, observe, and experience your bodies, from the material to the esoteric.
People have become accustomed to receive their healing from an external source, but yoga must be experienced daily from the inside out. Villa Konstantin will offer a diversity of classes and styles. These will appeal to everyone, whether you are a seasoned yogi or a newcomer.
One trip to Delos and a workout on one of the most beautiful beaches are included in this retreat. The neighboring island of Delos is the spiritual jewel of the Cyclades islands and the birthplace to the Greek God Appollo. Boat trips to Delos run daily in the summer months. The tour boat departs early in the morning and the visit lasts about four hours. You should be back in Mykonos in the early afternoon, just in time for a refreshing swim and lunch.
Haroula Makropoulou is a sports and fitness expert, personal trainer, and massage therapist. She is certified with the degree of physical education and sports science after having completed all her studies in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece. Having been in this type of business for many years and having owned a fitness studio previously, she has gained people's trust and respect.
This retreat will take place at Villa Konstantin in Greece. It is only 700 meters from Mykonos town, perched high up on the North hillside with spectacular sunset sea views but close enough to walk to the famous nightlife, although the months of May, June, and September are much more relaxing for those of you who are looking for a less frantic pace.
This small intimate complex of rooms and studios are designed to have a very relaxed feel and to make you feel very much at home. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to visit the islands sites and get acquainted with its rich history. Mykonos town is the ideal spot for a nonchalant stroll, admiring the whitewashed houses and narrow alleyways, and visiting the Church of Panagia Paraportiani, the famous windmills, and the wonderful museums. Alefkandra, the Little Venice of Mykonos, is a picturesque port, packed with quaint taverns, cafes, and bars.
Other sites worth visiting are the Monastery of Panagia Tourlianis in Ano Mera, the three Hellenistic towers, the well of Giannaros in Platis Gialos, and the Prehistoric ruins in the area of Panormos Bay. Mykonos is also very famous for its beaches, most of which have soft sand and clear waters, as well as beach bars and cafes. On the Mykonos beaches of Paradise, Super Paradise, Psarou, Platis Gialos, Agios Stefanos, Panormos, and Ornos, you will find sunbathed people relaxing and socializing.
Those are the trendy beaches, where most of the young visitors go. There are also more secluded Mykonos beaches, where you can find a quiet spot to enjoy your swim, such as Elia, Ftelia, Paraga, and Agrari. Villa Konstantin has many additional classes, kayaking excursions, as well as professional masseurs to help you relax and explore your inner peace. All are available on request.
