"Three very relaxed nights at Vida Pura"
Every morning we took a yoga class at 9 am which was always really good. Straight after yoga we had excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice, coffee, fruits and many more stuff on the table. People at Vida Pura are all very nice and in case of any questions they are happy to assist you.
from Germany, May 2018
I had a wonderful time at Vida Pura. It is a really unique place, the rooms are built and designed with love and great attention to detail while still being ecologically sound. The surrounding nature is stunning, it's a great place to relax and reload. Everybody at Vida Pura is extremely friendly! I enjoyed the yoga lessons lots, both teachers knew very well what they are doing. The surf instructor Joao is everything you hope for in a teacher; structured, patient, motivating, professional. He got me standing on the bird within one lesson, even though I'm usually not very talented at sports! All in all, it was much above expectations and I'm already looking forward to returning sometime soon! Thanks so much, everyone at Vida Pura!

"Yoga and surf retreat"
The people working here are genuinely happy and believe passionately about what they do. The accommodation was beautiful and the beds were comfy. Loved the food here too!
The yoga was fun and challenging. I particularly enjoyed surfing everyday, I saw a real improvement in my technique.
I'm already thinking about coming back to this special place!
from Romania, April 2018
Everything about this retreat was more than amazing! I'll never regret coming here. I was a bit concerned about the food before I came(I am vegan) but it all went great and I never went hungry, the food was plenty and sooo delicious! The yoga teacher was really lovely and I enjoyed all the classes. Everyone was so nice and always ready to listen and help with anything. Leaving this place is harder than I thought it would be, it's a piece of heaven! Already missing everyone and everything here. I totally recommend and if I could, I'd do this all over again. My heart is so full!
from Germany, February 2018
I really enjoyed the yoga classes from 9 until 10.30 am. They gave very personal feedback and changed within their concepts what was needed for the participants. I was happy to get to know two different styles from two yoga teachers during my stay. Tanja and Luna were amazing and their wholehearted personalities were the perfect start for the day at vida pura. On top me and my friend added a massage from Elsa and her hands were magic, deep relaxation and perfect sleep afterwards!
Next to Yoga/Massage yummieh breakfast with different porridge styles and fresh orange juice. Lovley-welcoming-caring staff - special thanks to Bela. See you again!

We liked everything, the house was amazing and the surroundings beautiful. We could enjoy some hiking in a route next to the coast, biking and relaxing at the nice house we had. The yoga was great, we had two different teachers and both were really good. The breakfast also amazing. Bela and Wouter were both really friendly and welcoming, they help us with everything we needed :)

"Wonderful eco-lodge with awesome hosts"
Bella and Robin are beautiful people with vibrant and kind personalities. Wonderful place to relax in absolutely stunning nature and do yoga. Also fun to meet hikers at the lodge as they walk along the Rota Vicentina, since the lodge is near Odeceixe. This lodge is great for exploring nature in rural Portugal, surfing, or shopping/exploring smaller towns since afternoons are free (yoga in the morning, plus fresh, tasty, & big breakfast). The Fisherman's Trail of the Rota Vicentina is lovely in the spring time with great temperature and new blossoms. Thanks again, Bela and Robin, for sharing your eco lifestyle with outsiders! Wish I could have stayed even longer. Hope to come back someday. Peace.

"Vida Pura is the best"
Robin & Bella are the most amazing people, the place is so close to nature and all the people there become friends for life.
from United Kingdom, May 2017
I can't fault Vida Pura. We knew it was going to be good but when we got there it bypassed our expectations. The team are so welcoming and friendly, and I can only describe the backdrop as a natural paradise. I have never felt so relaxed in my life. Everything is thought about and your needs are attended to - breakfast is already waiting for you once you have finished the yoga session, which itself is incredible. The apartments are perfect, very large but still cosy and a huge private terrace to enjoy the morning and evening sun. Odeceixe is very close, but far enough that you feel you are in your own world. I didn't want to leave and am already planning my return.

"Great times and nice people at vida Pura!"
Yoga class was great, breakfast was delicious! The surrounding area is good for meditation and walks. Nice people there who make you feel at home! It is a place to come back, definitely!
from Austria, January 2018
What Bela and Robin built there, is amazing. I stayed in the Guesthouse with shared bathroom, and as we were only two women (because of low season) and one night I had the whole house for myself, it was reeeeeaaaally calm and relaxing to stay. :)
The rooms are nice, the house has everything you wish for to make yourself comfortable. I enjoyed the yoga lessons, a massage and the view from the terrasse. Highly recommended & I will try to come back in summer some time :)

"A perfect place to recharge"
It is a pearl in the middle of beautiful landscape. A lot of silence, nature which lets you just relax. Yoga lessons were great, I learned more things. The big villa is very beautiful. It is possible to do a nice walk to Ocedeixe or Ocedeixe Beach. If you stay longer than 2 days you should come with a car, as you are more flexibel to discover the area.

"A short but amazing journey to the heart of Portugal "

What an amazing place, beautifully done and in a setting you just have to breathe in. Useful to have a car, the roads are very clear and great beaches, we fell across some lovely restaurants, Cercal's Chef Luis was a delight. We loved the dogs, Talia, Khalua and Nina they are very special. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The people are kind and welcoming. I would suggest taking slippers for the tiled floors, little chilly whilst getting the fire started!

The farm is a great place to visit. We stayed in the Natural Elements apartment. It was clean and with nice details. Loved the snake coiled around the sink in mosaic and the tree in the bedroom. The kitchen is quite functional. The kids were comfortable in the sleep loft.
The donkeys, dogs and chickens were the highlight of the visit for the kids - Ola was an amazing resource for local info and great with the kids.
The only thing to be aware of... The road to the farm is rough. Our rental car had low clearance. We made it but 10-15 km/h was max speed.
If you are interested in a comfortable and quiet place to stay, near great beaches this is your place. No night life, no tv, no restaurant - just peaceful nature.

Driving up to Vida Pura on a seemingly endless gravel road you might be caught thinking "where the heck am I?", but arriving on the property is in itself worth the drive. Beautifully located in the hills near Odeceixe, Vida Pura is the perfect relaxing hide-out. We immediately canceled some of our plans in the area to enjoy the beautiful apartment and patio with stunning views. Amazing to think that everything on the property was beautifully designed and (re-)built by the friendly Dutch owners themselves. The place is self-sufficient and Eco-friendly. We enjoyed some of the home-grown fruits and vegetables, did a boxing work-out and did some hikes around the area. A must-visit if you're in the area!

A friend and I had a wonderful time staying in Vida Pura at the end of August.
We booked a yoga holiday where we practiced yoga on the open deck every morning and we also had a few evenings of private classes. The teachers were excellent and we experienced many different types of yoga. After the morning class the day was ours to fill as we pleased - trips to nearby towns, lay out on the beach a short drive away or go for a walk around the hills.
I cannot describe how welcoming and amazing the staff were -Bela, Ole, Robin and all the volunteers went out of their way to make us feel at home. We had some (a lot!!) of car trouble and they were incredibly helpful. Id give them a 6/5 for service if I could!
We stayed in the Yurt which was perfect. Could be quite warm during the day but we generally weren't around. Not too chilly at night. Very comfortable and perfect for our needs. The bathroom is a short walk away and shared with another yurt. If you are in the yurt you can use the main kitchen, and there are fresh fruit and vegs from the farm for you to buy.
Would certainly recommend a stay here for a relaxing break whether doing yoga or not.
The apartments and Villa are beautifully designed and the atmosphere at the place is great. Robin and Bella were lovely hosts. The locations is so peaceful with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We'll definitely return for another holiday. Having the Yoga there every morning was a great way to unwind.
