Delve Deeply into a Fully-rounded Yoga Practice

We shall spend 5 days in a beautiful villa located on the top of an amphitheatric, a tiny village over the Northern shore of Evia Island. This is a holistic wellness place with a spectacular sea and mountain view surrounded by pines, olive trees, and azure waters composing the ideal scenery for your Greek yoga retreat. Watch the sun rising from our Shala during your morning practice and get your energy flowing. Forests, sea breeze, and wonderful landscapes will inspire you to go deeper into your meditation and nurture your mind, while local food and nearby hot springs will keep your body fully pleased. We shall practice yoga every day, walk to the beach and enjoy delicious local vegetarian food! Only 200 meters from our villa stands a quiet, rocky beach. Relax in a hammock under the shade of the giant fig tree or pick your mask and explore the vibrant underwater life.

Come enjoy a change of scenery giving yourself a gift of self-care. This is a time where you serve no one, consuming nothing, producing nothing, and just being with yourself moving slowly and breathing deeply.

During our 5 days yoga retreat, we will explore our inner worlds through the practice of Hatha and restorative yoga, using several yoga principles to reset our body and mind from the stressful daily routine.

These vitalizing and restorative practices coupled with different types of meditation and pranayama sessions, all according to the themes prepared for each day, will result in greater well-being, simplicity, and equilibrium in life. The intention is to establish yourself and your attitude towards life in the principles of yoga even after the retreat is completed.

The result will be a strong and healthy body, loving heart, calm mind, peaceful soul, and a bright smile on your face!

This retreat offers the opportunity to practice yoga in-depth with an experienced and inspirational teacher who will share her passion for yoga and personal growth. The focus of the program is to integrate oneself as a person but also to delve deeply into all aspects of a fully rounded yoga practice. This means we’ll be following well-structured sessions created to educate and provide experience in all aspects of practice from meditation, pranayama, and asana to exploring our deeper sense of self and identity.

Mornings

Beginning with quiet seated meditation and chanting to set our intentions for the day and develop deeper awareness. Followed by breathing and traditional pranayama practices designed to release tension and improve subtle energy awareness. Completing the morning with an energetic vinyasa/ashtanga yoga session focused on anatomically sound movement and alignment or, an assisted self-practice session to work with our individual needs.

Afternoons

These sessions will begin with a presentation or discussion to encourage a deeper understanding of our yoga practices and their purpose within our modern lives. We’ll cover ideas relating to our sense of self or identity and the many challenges we face finding balance in our life. Following this with either a themed workshop-style educational yoga session, such as heart openers and inversions, or restorative / yoga Nidra practice.

Learn the postures in-depth and adapt them to personal capacity and needs

No matter if you are advanced or beginner - the method of Ujjayi-Breathing with applying self-exploration and understanding the inner energy-flow, will enable you to advance to your fullest potential! You will gain a new perspective and powerful tools for self-transformation. Dive deep and float on the waves of breath!
