Ilaria Perni began practicing yoga at an early age. She initially trained at the Joytinat Yoga Centre in Genoa under Swami Joythimayananda from Tamil, South India, then continued her studies with a diploma from the Yoga Satyananda Ashram School in Italy. She continued her education with Gitananda Ashram at the Italian Hindu Union. She has taught yoga since 1996 and practised Ayurvedic massage since 1998. She's managed the Kashi Kriya Yoga Centre since 2007 and continues to manage hotel and resort spas since 2009.
