Every night, you will look forward to a peaceful evening in the regions best sleeping quarters. Depending on the area, you will stay at a hotel, B&B, villa or a royal estate. Every tour has 3 or 4 star trip accommodations handpicked for the location, customer service and authentic regional flare. You will be accommodated in shared double rooms or private rooms at an additional single supplement.

Day 1

After settling in, a casual walk to get acclimated to Positano, the beautiful and historic town that John Steinbeck called a dream place. Then, dinner accompanied by a tasting of the sweet limoncello made from the finest and freshest lemons from Amalfi Cost. Merenda (Snack) and dinner are included.

Day 2

After a session of morning yoga, you take a ferry to Capri. After a picnic lunch at Villa Jovis, the emperor Tiberius summer home, you can then explore the Roman ruins continue a gorgeous walk to visit the world-famous Faraglioni. Then, dinner on your own in Positano. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Day 3

To start the day off, a morning hike along the Path of the Gods (il Sentiero degli Dei). Then, enjoy a free day in Positano. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Day 4

After morning yoga, you bid farewell to Positano and set off toward Matera, stopping in historic Battipaglia and the beautiful Gallipoli Cognato Piccole Dolomiti Lucane Regional Park. Named because of its mountains similarities to the Dolomite mountain range further north in Italy. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Day 5

Morning yoga to start the day off right. Then, choose how to spend your day from three exciting options. Tour the prehistoric sassi caves, go on a hike through the gorgeous Park of Rupestrian Churches or take a cooking class in one of Materas famous caves! Breakfast and lunch are included.

Day 6

After a morning yoga session to start the day, spend a free day in Matera! Immerse yourself in the city for one more night before you say arrivederci in the morning. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Day 7

After breakfast, you move on from Matera to Puglia, the last stop on your Southern Italy tour. On the way, there will be a stop for lunch (optional) at Grottaglie, an ancient Albanian settlement, and the home of Puglias earthenware production since the 10th century. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Day 8

Enjoy a morning yoga session before beginning your day in Lecce. Choose from a tasting of locally made olive oil, an excursion to the historic Santa Maria di Leuca and its famous lighthouse, or a walking tour of the unique city center. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Day 9

A morning walk around the city before the hustle and bustle of daily life takes over. Then, a free day in Lecce. Breakfast included.

Day 10

After breakfast, you travel to Alberobello, the home of the famous trulli houses. On the way, you stop at the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve to have lunch and stretch your legs. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

Day 11

After morning yoga, choose from three different excursions for your day in Alberobello. Take a guided walking tour of the city (including the fairy tale-like trulli), visit a local agriturismo, or enjoy a gastronomic tour of Alberobello and learn how to make traditional Apulian cuisine, which is a unique blend of Italian and Greek. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Day 12

One last morning yoga session before breakfast. Then, you say a fond goodbye to Southern Italy. Breakfast is included.

Treat yourself to some limoncello made from locally grown lemons with Via Mondos famous food excursions and savor the sweet taste and sweeter memories as you travel east to Basilicata. An adventure vacation in Southern Italy is not complete without touring the caves and getting lost in the regions history and culture. Onto Apulia, the heel on the boot of Italy to explore the natural wonders of the region. Take in the sights, taste the locally made olive oil on one of our food tours, explore the fairy tale-like trulli homes, and savor all of the unique experiences and histories that Apulia has to offer.

Hotel Conca d'Oro

The Hotel Conca d'Oro is situated in the most desirable spot in Positano. Close to the center, it's an enchanting 3 star superior hotel. In 2014, the hotel was remodeled preserving the baroque style. All the areas are bright and decorated with hand painted majolica by a master craftsman in Positano.

L'Hotel in Pietra

L'Hotel in Pietra is a beautiful 13th-century church conversion. It is perched high up in the Sasso (Materas old town quarter built into caves). All the 8 rooms are different, imaginative conversions of the unusual spaces the old buildings provide.

Torre del Parco

Torre del Parco is located in the heart of Lecce and it is a Medieval and Renaissance symbol of the city. It includes the Tower and is surrounded by a deep moat. The rooms of the Historic House are located in the old Convent which was built in 1600 on the walls of the fifteenth-century manor.

Grand Hotel Olimpo

Grand Hotel Olimpo is distinguished from other hotels in Alberobello by its large elegant and modern rooms providing every comfort for a pleasant stay. The spaces, the elegance, and the services at an international level of the best 4-star hotels.
