Riva Lofts Florence is a private boutique hotel with spectacular grounds, giving the feeling you are staying in Italy's decadent countryside. Once you step foot on the premise, you will immediately feel the stress begin to release from your body and find yourself enjoying the present moment. Across from Riva Lofts Florence, there are tennis courts available.

Each of the lofts at Riva Lofts Florence is unique in its own way with easy access to the beautiful garden and pool. On this retreat, there are three types of rooms to choose from as described below.

Standard Studio

  • A 30-square meter room
  • Small outdoor space or kitchenette

Deluxe Studio

  • A 40-square meter room
  • Direct access to garden or cozy entrance alley

Superior Studio

  • A space up to 45 square meters
  • Direct access to garden or cozy alley entrance with lemon trees and roses
  • Mezzanine with garden view
  • High ceilings

This is a great week for all beginners to experienced yogis! You and your significant other can spend quality time together, friends can get away to relax and reconnect, or you can come alone for time to yourself on this spiritual adventure.

During the retreat, your daily yoga and meditation classes will be guided by Annette. The classes and workshop will take place in one of the luxurious lofts or outside if the weather permits. The yoga style taught in the classes includes Vinyasa, slow flow, Yin, and Nidra yoga.

This week, through the various style of yoga, Annette will help you reconnect with your inner selves and find a pure state of deep relaxation, as well as educate you in the cultures of the city she has previously lived and the country from which her father was born.

Your retreat includes a day trip to wineries in the Chianti region with lunch and tastings of wine, grappa, and olive oils. You will also have two scheduled bike rides exploring Florence's breathtaking architecture led by Robert.

    Annette received her 200-hour certification under Kay Kay Clivio and Yogi Charu, 100-hour mentorship under Tanya Boulton, and 100-hour therapeutics training with Dana Slamp and Jon Witt at Pure Yoga in New York City.

Your retreat will take place at Riva Lofts Florence set in the beautiful Florence, a city in Italy rated as "the number one city in the world" by Conde Nast in 2016. The hotel is located right on the Arno River across from the exquisite Parco delle Cascine and is in a walking distance to the center of Florence.

Italy is known for its exquisite food and wine. Imagine a private chef preparing all of your meals at Riva Lofts Florence tailored just for you with amazing local wines. Your retreat will include daily breakfast, a lunch, and three dinners.

The remaining lunches and dinners will take place at a local restaurant, and on the winery tour in Chianti. On your days eating out, the hotel has handpicked local restaurants for you to enjoy and experience the feeling of being a local.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to Florence Airport (FLR) which is the closest airport to Riva Lofts Florence. You can take a taxi directly to the hotel or take a train to the main station, Firenze Santa Maria Novella. From there, you can either take a cab or trolley to the hotel.

You can also fly to Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCR) in Rome, approximately 1 and a half hours away to the hotel by train. You should take a shuttle to Roma Termini railway station, then take a train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station.

Besides that, you can book your flight to Milan–Malpensa Airport (MXP), approximately 2 and a half hours away to the hotel by train. You should take a shuttle to Milano Centrale railway station, then take a train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station.     "Annette's voice was calming and soothing. One of my favorite parts about our instructor was her excitement in educating each of us on the value of this practice and the impact it has made in her life. Isn't it so important that we give credit to people when they do something that impresses us? Something that they have overcome to get where they are today? Annette's story was heartfelt and strong. It takes a special person to be able to bring a room full of strangers to a point of complete and utter relaxation (and some magical snores reverberated the essence of "delta" land -no judgement, I promise- I loved every second of knowing everyone was just as relaxed as I was!) At the end I felt replenished and rejuvenated! The format of the workshop had time allotted at the end where you could hear all of the different experiences and this might have been one of my favorite parts of the entire experience. Each person goes through something different and according to Annette, this is true down to each time you practice this. I highly recommend trying this out! It was really awesome!"
