This yoga retreat is perfect for you who want to boost your wellness through the detox program while relaxing your body, mind, and soul through daily yoga practices.
You will be staying at Montecarretto Country House during the retreat. A double room or a single room with a private bathroom is available. There are three suites: one is in the Trulli main building, one is in the old barn, and the other is in an old ruin; all are renovated, preserving the original state.
Each room has the name of the plant grown near or inside it (like the fig tree in the old ruin). All rooms are very comfortable, providing tranquility and repose in a refined and welcoming environment. All has private bathrooms, kitchenette, and terrace.
Check in after 2 p.m. Check out of room is before 11 a.m. but it is possible to stay at the venue, the pool, etc. using external toilet.
Yoga mat and free bicycle are provided. Electrical bike to rent. Companions who do not participate in the activities can come in a shared room and pay only the accommodation.
Morning Hatha yoga; a balanced yoga approach every morning warm-up exercises, asana (poses), pranayama (breathing), mantras (positive affermations) mindfulness (focuses attentions) mudra and relaxation (includes guided imagery) surrounded by nature.
Yoga is not just "poses." It also includes what happens along the way (how you breathe, how you are listening to your body, and how your mind is focused on the present moment). Yoga is a personal activity that looks different with each of you. Yoga is not about how you "look" on the outside; it is about how you "feel" on the inside.
On this retreat, you will enjoy daily yoga lessons which include asana and pranayama based on Ayurveda and the three doshas. The treatments could be abhiangam (traditional Ayurvedic massage) bolus bag, shirodhara, udwartanam (detox powder) sauna, vasti (local treatments), shiroabhiangam (head massage), mukhabhiangam (face massage), nasyam, etc. In your free time, you can spend your time resting, walking in nature, reading light material, and practicing gentle yoga and meditation.
Teas for drinking throughout the day are available, and the host recommends absolute rest or short walks without exposing yourself to excessive heat, cold, wind, etc.
