The Ecolodge L'île de Ouarzazate is a paradise haven with a peaceful and spectacular view, an organic food restaurant and all the comfort that you need, in a more sustainable option. You will sleep here for the first 2 nights.

The third night you will join the fixed bivouac M'hamid El Ghislane. The place is held by native nomads from the desert and they will welcome you the best as possible.

The fourth and fifth nights, during the trek, you will sleep in tents (or under the stars if you want to), carried and installed by the camel riders. Some temporary showers will be installed.

Then, you will camp again regarding the program.

Program

With morning practice, you will enjoy a mix of meditation, Pilates, Tantric yoga, Hatha yoga, and yoga flow to prepare the body for the day of walking. In 10 days you will be able to increase your flexibility, create and live the permanent change of the body but also, to improve the health of your cardiovascular system, tone all your body parts by sculpting long and defined muscles, open and balance the energy system, raise your energetic vibration.

Evening classes will be more relaxed, with a mix of Pranayama, visualization, and meditation, with Tantric yoga practices.

You will focus on the chakra system and your resonance with the universe to:

  • Learn to surrender to love, allowing your desires to flow naturally into your life
  • Create natural and harmonious permanent body change by developing a profound knowledge of your true, value, worthiness and beauty
  • Learn how to control your freedom
  • Clarify and purify your wishes to make them match with your true-being
  • Give yourselves the tools to realize your wishes
  • Transform challenges into opportunities
  • Some evenings will include guided ecstatic dance where you will be led into high vibration under the Moroccan stars, connecting you with the beauty and cosmic clarity of the dessert.

A "fusion" of yoga Tantra, asana Hatha / Vinyasa / Lyengar, meditation, visualization, cardio, toning, and Pilates.

The Tantra method that you will practice includes meditations, and Hatha asanas to raise your energies towards the highest and purest vibrations, clarifying the energy system to better resonate with the universe vibrations.

The low-impact cardiovascular training will help you to increase your lung capacity and your blood flow, which helps to get more energy in your body and your mind and, which creates endorphins, and so, the feelings of well-being. Cardio training also helps to burn fat and increase metabolism for the whole day.

Guided meditation and visualization are ideal to connect with your divine being and to purify, clarify and express your deepest wishes from your heart.

Le Programme

Dimanche 1er Mars : Arrivée à Ouarzazate à 17h (avion Transavia direct depuis Paris). Prise en charge par l’équipe de Hassan, transfert à l’écolodge L’Ile de Ouarzazate. Cercle de bienvenu et ouverture de la pratique, dîner et nuit à l’hôtel en chambre double ou suite pour 4 personnes.

Lundi 2 : Yoga du matin, petit déjeuner, visites facultatives de la ville de Ouarzazate ou des Studios de cinéma Atlas (prix de 20€ par personne non compris), déjeuner au restaurant Elbahjia, visite de la Kasbah de Taourirt

Pratique du soir, dîner.

Mardi 3 : Yoga du matin, petit déjeuner, départ en minibus vers Agdz. Halte dans une Kasbah qui a été réhabilitée dans le respect de l’architecture traditionnelle. L’essentiel des matériaux de constructions a été puisé dans les ressources naturelles de la palmeraie et des montagnes alentours. Seuls les artisans du Douar ont travaillé à sa restauration.

Temps de repos, découverte des modes de vie de la population, balade dans la palmeraie pour découvrir l’agriculture oasienne, déjeuner écologique. Dans l'après-midi, en route vers le désert où nous arriverons vers 17h.

A Talha, départ à pieds accompagnés de la caravane de dromadaire et de l’équipe (chameliers, guides, cuisiniers). Une heure de marche, puis installation des tentes et du bivouac dans le désert. Yoga du soir, dîner, nuit dans les tentes ou à la belle étoile. Mercredi 4 : Yoga du matin, petit déjeuner, marche dans le désert avec halte pour le déjeuner (3 ou 4 heures de marche au total dans la journée). Installation du bivouac à Rasriche, pratique du soir, dîner.

Jeudi 5 : Yoga du matin, petit déjeuner, puis marche à pied jusqu’au puit Bocaouar. Journée au sable :). Pratique du soir, dîner, nuit sous les étoiles (ou tente).

Vendredi 6 : Yoga du matin, petit déjeuner, puis direction à pieds vers le bivouac fixe de la Palmeraie pour dormir et pour une douche bien méritée. Grande tente avec lits confortables (draps et couvertures + serviettes fournis). Pratique du soir, dîner et fête avec toute l'équipe.

Samedi 7 : Yoga du matin, petit déjeuner, visite de l'ancienne Kasbah de la Palmeraie, déjeuner à la Kasbah, puis direction Ouarzazate à nouveau pour dormir dans un autre magnifique écolodge.

Dimanche 8 mars : dernier Yoga du matin, petit déjeuner, journée libre pour aller découvrir Ouarzazate (souk et autres).

Avion à 18h20, retour à la réalité avec bien plus d'énergie !

Food

The meals are a real moment of conviviality. Sitting on a carpet, they are shared with the groups and you will eat, most of the time with your hands. Tea will be served all day long.

The meals are mainly cooked with wood fire. Going for wood is an important and constant task that you can do if you want to.

The breakfast always includes some sand bread, date syrup, olive oil, cheese, and jam. The lunch includes, in general, some salads, fish or meat.

The evening meal is a hot meal made on the fire and includes many vegetables, like a tajine. Please let VaWanda know about any allergies, food intolerances or diets you have.
