Courses are fully Certified by Yoga Alliance and flexible so you can complete at your own pace with video modules and 100 hours of live classes each month. Your tuition serves as credit to attend a future training in Thailand or Bali. Learn traditional hatha and vinyasa yoga, meditation, pranayama, philosophy, anatomy and methodology, plus bonus aerial and acro classes. Since 2014 ULU Yoga has led over 100 trainings and has free video tutorials on Facebook and Youtube.
Courses are ongoing every month. You can start at any time and work at your own pace in your free time. You can finish the course in 50 days or up to 1 year later.
You can complete the entire course offline by watching video modules, completing reading and writing assignments and submitting teaching practice recordings, which we review and give feedback.
There are 25 hours a week of live classes, which take place between 11:00-21:00, Monday - Saturday, Thailand time. You are not required to attend live classes. They are all recorded and you can watch later. Live classes are a mix of Q&A discussion about the video modules and assignments plus special lectures, workshops and regular practice. You can attend as many live classes as you like until you complete the course.
Your online tuition fee serves as credit to attend any course in Thailand and Bali including the Aerial Yoga TT. If the Thailand course is $5000, and the online course costs $100, you will only pay $400. Then you can enjoy more special classes like beach yoga, aerial yoga, acro yoga and SUP yoga, as featured in ULU Yoga pictures and videos.

Daily practice of hatha and vinyasa yoga featuring sun salutations, traditional core poses, meditation and pranayama. Daily analytics where each pose is examined in detail for correct form and alignment. Workshops include prenatal, injuries, adjustments, sequencing, more detailed meditation and pranayama.
Working with injuries, senior, prenatal, trauma release and mixed levels. Biomechanics of movement, principles of compression and proportion plus working with different body types. Respiratory, muscular and skeletal. The subtle energetic body of the nadis, chakras and doshas.
History, philosophy, ethics and classical texts including Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Bhagavad Gita. Includes the 8 limbs, yamas, niyamas, gunas, doshas, kleshas and more.
Includes teaching methodology, class design, professional development and teaching practice. You will record yourself teaching 3-5 complete classes, planned in fine detail and reviewed by an instructor.
Optional video modules include aerial yoga with ULU Yoga founder Edward and intro to Acro Yoga with Caspian and Astri from Bali. You will also learn how to make an aerial tripod so you practice at home indoors or outdoors.
You will receive PDF’s and links to readings. Much of the content is derived from: Teaching Yoga by Mark Stephens, Hatha Illustrated by Martin Kirk, Light on Yoga by B.K.S. Iyengar, Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Bhagavad Gita and Vedas.
200 hours is beginner friendly, you get a good overview of yoga subjects like asana, anatomy, philosophy and alignment. 300 hours is intermediate/advanced, you learn to guide deeper & more specific experiences for your students/clients using yoga practices of asana, pranayama & meditation.
200 hours you learn basic human anatomy, biomechanics of movement and subtle energetics to understand the body as a holistic system. 300 hours you study more the specific health benefits of various asanas and techniques to treat illness and injury, release trauma and depression, serve prenatal and seniors.
200 hours can be challenging both physically and mentally and require patience and determination to absorb a completely new way of thinking and living. 300 hours expects students to be in good form, receptive and attentive, and eager to take the leap towards deepening the layers of practice and developing higher level skills to provide a balanced guidance for others.
ULU Yoga is a 200/300/500-hour registered school with Yoga Alliance ID 198078. Upon successfully completing this course you will receive a Yoga Alliance Certificate and become a Registered Yoga Teacher and can join Yoga Alliance as an official member. Until Sept 30th you can complete the entire course online (but probably they will extend this or make online certification a permanent option). Normally you can only do 20% of the course online. You will receive a PDF certificate. A laminated copy can be mailed to you upon request for $20.

Eddie (USA) has over 6,000 hours experience as lead instructor and coordinator on nearly 100 yoga teacher trainings and retreats from 2007-2019. He is RYT 200 Ashtanga Vinyasa, certified in Aerial Yoga, Thai Massage, TEFL, CELTA, completed several Buddhist meditation courses, volunteered extensively at organic farms and retreat centers, did graduate studies in International Education, taught as a university instructor, plus worked in music theater production and performance. In 2014 Eddie created ULU Yoga, which is now an international success offering monthly yoga courses around the world.
Shashi (Germany) is lead ULU Aerial Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 500hr Hatha-Yoga and 500hr Aerial Yoga. Shashi stepped on the path of Yoga more than 10 years ago with the passionate studies of western, yogic and buddhist philosophy. Her inexhaustible studies of metaphysical and energetical concepts, explaining the functions of the body and mind guided her to breathing and meditation techniques. Soon she came across the practice of physical yoga and found great emotional and mental relief. Her aim is to show the compassionate way of self-healing through the opening and acceptance of the body.
Cody (South Africa) started yoga in 2010 and is Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 in multi-style yoga with additional certifications in Aerial and SUP Yoga. Cody has several years experience as the lead instructor on numerous Yoga TTC’s, mindfulness retreats, and Mixed Movement Arts and Parkour workshops in Bali, India, Malaysia, and Cambodia. Cody's passion for movement as a whole interconnected discipline translates into all of his classes. He loves to motivate others through Yoga, movement, and philosophy to discover more about the miracle and magic that is the human body, mind, and the world itself.
Kehkashan (Pakistan) has taught yoga for over 20 years. She did a 500-hr advanced TT in Nepal. In Thailand, she did Hot yoga TT with Absolute Yoga, Advanced Teaching Skills at Yoga Expert Academy, Aerial yoga TT at ULU Yoga, Sky Yoga Level 2 TT. KK is famous for bringing Aerial yoga to Pakistan and has appeared on the radio and news. She is tough when one needs to be challenged and compassionate as she tailors poses to suit one's capabilities, taking time to discuss students’ health and introduce them to pranayama and meditation, determined to take one deeper into the sublime joyride of yoga.
Manjeet started yoga and self-awareness path in 2009. He completed his 200-hr, 300-hr, Yoga Therapy Module 1 & 2 MultiStyle Yoga TT with Parimukti Yoga in India. He also has certifications in meditation teacher training and Iyengar yoga. Manjeet has taught 3000+ hours in 50 plus yoga and meditation teacher training specializing in Hatha Yoga, meditations, practical yoga philosophy, chakras, pranayama, and more! He has a very human approach to yoga and believes in personalizing practices for everyone. Emotional awareness and making a light, playful space also are his specialty.
Since the age of nine Kalpana Karia started learning yoga from her father Dhanjibhai Khagram. Yoga has always been her passion and she never stopped studying to update her knowledge up to today. From 1982 to 1986 she did a television series teaching yoga on the local Kenyan television and published her first book Yoga For Health which was based on her TV series. In 1997 she was appointed as the director for East African studies by the British School of Yoga she taught yoga voluntarily and trained many teachers.
This teacher training is held online. Ulu Yoga is based in Bali, Indonesia (GMT + 7) and they will live-stream yoga classes via zoom which you can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone or computer.
