Program

ULU Aerial yoga

ULU Aerial is rooted in traditional Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Each morning incudes a two-hour guided class to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body and mind. Classes are suitable for beginners, but also dynamic and challenging.

Asana lab

Analyze poses one by one in detail to learn safe practice, alignment, common mistakes, plus beginner and advanced variations. The poses are taught in order of a carefully designed sequence supported by a training manual and video series.

Restorative Aerial yoga

Combine Yin yoga and physical therapy techniques with long held deep stretches and traction to decompress the spine, relieve back pain, access deeper layers of fascia tissue, plus release trauma and stress to promote somatic self healing.

Partner Aerial yoga

A creative exploration with two people working together in one swing for enhanced traction, balance, and Acro skills in ways you never imagined possible. It is incredible fun and makes for great group bonding and amazing pictures.

Acrobatic Aerial yoga

Learn to flip, fly and link everything together to create dynamic sequences. How far you go depends on the overall level of the group. However, even beginners can succeed in the basic techniques and they aim not to exclude anyone.

Teaching practice

While most people just take this course for fun, take seriously the teacher training aspect. You will practice teaching every day plus design and teach a complete class. By the end of this course, you will be a confident instructor!

Anatomy

Examine the construction of the spine and learn how to cure back pain with traction and decompression. Receive additional online classes for more detailed information about muscles, bones, fascia, functional anatomy, and biomechanics.

Aerial photo shoot

Remember this experience forever with a glorious photoshoot. This will take place on the hillside next to the yoga shala, which has an incredible ocean view. There is not a professional photographer, but you will have exceptional quality pics.

Beach yoga

Finish the course will an amazing traditional yoga practice on beautiful Bingin Beach. This is not an Aerial yoga class, but instead a mindful journey to help integrate your training experience and connect with mother nature.

Additional sauna

For additional fee ($15) the group will visit Santai Recovery Spa, a peaceful garden sanctuary in Bingin with a large dry sauna, hot and cold plunge pools, and a tropical swimming pool.

Skill Level & Requirements

Participants should be in good physical condition and practice yoga or other fitness activities regularly. Try to take at least a few Aerial classes before starting this course. You should be able to touch your toes, hold plank for 45 seconds, do inversion against the wall for 10 seconds.

Aerial hammock

On this training, you will practice with ULU Yoga's amazing AirSwing, which has cushion padding offering greater comfort and stability compared to regular aerial hammocks. It's much easier for beginners and you will love it!

Self Studies

In Bali you should do 1 hour of daily self-study outside of class. This will deepen your understanding and enhance your overall experience.​ Recommended activities include: reading the training manual, reviewing notes or media from the day's sessions, designing your original yoga class, journal assignments.

Online Studies

This training includes 10 hours of required online study. You’ll receive over 50 hours of videos covering all course topics. You can choose what material serves you best. Just simply watch or practice along with the videos. You can complete the studies before or after the training.

ULU Yoga

Since 2014 ULU Yoga has certified thousands of new instructors. They are a 500 Hour Registered School with Yoga Alliance and have a beautiful ocean view location in Bali. Join ULU to spread Universal Love and Understanding around the world.

Certificate

After completing this course you will receive a 50 Hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Certificate, which Yoga Alliance members can log as Additional Training / Continuing Education. ULU Yoga graduates teach all over the world.

Bali is a tropical island paradise known as the Island of the Gods. Bingin Beach, Uluwatu is one of the most beautiful parts of Bali with stunning limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and world-famous surfing. Nearby are many hip cafes, beach bars, boutique shops, live music and dance.

This training takes place at ULU Yoga's beautiful new ocean-view shala, just a few minutes from the famous Bingin Beach in Uluwatu, Bali. The shala features a soft cushion floor, clean new props, and air conditioning, allowing you to practice comfortably all year round in any weather.

Packages with accommodation include a healthy breakfast with a variety of delicious options to suit all dietary needs and tastes. Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). You can take a taxi to your accommodation. Or you can order rides via Gojek or Grab. Get a local SIM card at the airport for internet.
