I had a wonderful nine days at Ubud Aura. All staff members were accommodating and kind that I felt right at home despite my initial doubts as a first time solo traveler. Daily breakfasts were delish, close to the center and literally right next to the yoga barn. All in all, highly recommend giving Ubud Aura or its sister location a stay.
Also I’ll miss you, Tina!🌸 Sweetest staff member!

Ubud Aura was a real treat The staff were so nice and helpful and if you are looking to escape for a week or two in a tranquil setting this is the perfect place. I had a facial and massage while here and they were simply bliss. Ubud Aura is in a good location. There are plenty of places to eat all within easy walking distance. I would definitely come back here again.

"Bad start good finish"
I was upgraded to the suite which is a STUNNING room! However it was because I had booked the garden room, receipt emailed to me and then they emailed saying it was booked out and I had to pay an extra 240,000 for the suite. I didn't want a suite, I just wanted a basic room for the retreat. We went back and forth for hours as they wouldn't refund my deposit nor would they honour my booking (and I was supposed to be arriving that day!) I had nowhere to sleep that night if it wasn't rectified. Luckily I had a local friend to phone up and speak to them and I was upgraded. However I imagine normally under pressure the guest would just agree to paying the extra $250! This didn't sit well with me.
