Anahita Holden, PhD
Anahita Holden, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist, meditation teacher, and certified yoga instructor who specializes in the integration of psychotherapy and evidence-based mindfulness interventions. She received her doctorate degree from UCSB and has a private practice in downtown Santa Barbara. Anahita is in the process of completing the Mindful Self-Compassion teacher training program through the UCSD Center for Mindfulness. Anahita has practiced Vipassana meditation for over ten years and teaches meditation privately and throughout the community, with an emphasis on sound.
Elyse teaches Dynamic Vinyasa Flow yoga, a form of yoga that builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and mental focus. The postures flow in a continuous sequence which are linked together with careful attention to the breath. Mental clarity, self-awareness, concentration and focus are just some of the positive benefits. Sessions are tailored to provide positive results for all levels of yoga practitioners.
