In a gorgeous beach secluded by palm trees and surrounded by a unique Caribbean environment, our Charming Boutique Hotel was founded more than 15 years ago, making it one of the 1st formal hotel in Tulum. Conceived by Esteban with the single purpose of providing travelers with an enchanting experience, we’re proud to keep sharing the love and passion in everything that we do, which can be perceived in every corner Zulum. Welcome, to the most emblematic and rustic style boutique hotel in Tulum.

Culture

Tulum is a multicultural spot that welcomes visitors from all around the world every year, hence its rich mixture of culture, art, and traditions. From expos, workshops, performances and many different cultural activities, there’s always something artistic going on in Tulum.

Tulum jungle

Discover all the mysticism and magic of the Tulum vibrant jungle. With a wide variety of activities that go from hiking, archaeological sites and many fun eco-parks, a visit to the jungle is much recommended as one of the best things to do in Tulum, and you’ll discover that Tulum is more than gorgeous beaches and fun under the sun.

Tulum Ruins

The Tulum Ruins are probably the most photographed archaeological vestiges of the Mayan civilization due to their privileged location on a cliff next to the Mexican Caribbean sea. Explore the “walled city” and amaze with its mysticism. A tour in Tulum not to be missed.

Coba

The city of Coba is one of the most impressive Mayan vestiges and visiting is undoubtedly one of the best things to do in Tulum. Only a 45 minutes ride from Downtown Tulum, you’ll have the opportunity to climb to the top of a big pyramid known as the Nohoch Mul temple for unique jungle landscapes. There’s a lot of cenotes in the surroundings that you can visit for a refreshing dip.

Diving and snorkeling in cenotes

Visit the underwater world of Tulum in one of the many cenotes around the area. Snorkel aficionados and expert divers from around the globe visit Tulum every year to discover the sunken wonders of the majestic cave systems and the beauty of these natural sinkholes.

Sian Ka’an

The Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve is a vast, protected territory rich for its biodiversity and ecosystems. The entrance to this paradisiac place is at the end of the Tulum hotel zone, and a visit to this almost immaculate area includes exploring the mangrove, sail across the lagoons and the sea, and contemplating the fantastic flora and fauna of the Reserve.

Food

Tulum Academy has created a menu of humble, organic and nutritious food, and they are going to share some with you. They think mealtimes during retreat are very special. Hearing a table full of people laughing and being happy is a good end to a day of yoga.

During the prolonged yoga practice times that you often do on a yoga retreat, you get hungry. The body craves healthy food. They have found that an alkaline diet is a very good one for this. What is an Alkaline diet you ask? It is based around the idea that the foods you eat can alter the acidity or alkalinity (the pH value) of your body. All of the students appreciate the idea behind an alkaline diet, as they are looking after their health doing the yoga.
