During the retreat, you will be staying at Kaomai Lanna Resort.

The rooms are single or share-based room. Due to the intense nature of the retreat, it is advised to book a single so you have your own space to internalize, assimilate, and digest the practices in privacy

For those who wish to invest in a super-luxury stay, Kaomai Lanna Resort also has deluxe rooms Butterfly Room or Brick Room. The price is available on request.

With its quiet and peaceful atmosphere Kaomai Lanna offers a great retreat situation for this yoga retreat. The facilities include a swimming pool, spa, and wellness center, room service, and free wireless internet, high standards and great service.

Program

The seven days process is an invitation to switch off from the external world and direct one's focus and attention internally. There is no question that the best time and place to practice is on one's own, in one's own space, but being able to retreat with other seasoned practitioners can be very profound and powerful.

Briefly, The daily schedule will unfold as follows:

  • 06:30 - 08:30 Assisted self-practice
  • 08:30 - 10:30 Led Pranayama, Bandha, and meditation practice
  • 10:30 - 11:30 'Breakfast' as per fasting schedule)
  • 11:30 - 12:15 Sitting with a Master - Audio from masters such as Osho, Alan Watts, Krishna Murti, etc
  • 12:15 - 13:00 Yoga Nidra
  • 13:00 - 14:00 'Lunch as per fasting schedule
  • 14:00 - 14:00: Personal tapas time, diary writing
  • 16:00 - 18:00 Led class (dynamic flow to back-bending sequence to restorative to meditation) or self-practice
  • 18:30 - 19:00 Group sharing circle
  • 19:00 - 20:00 'Dinner' as per fasting schedule
  • 20:00 - 21:00 Meditation

A few words from Scarlett:

I was searching online for a retreat in January 2020. Somewhere in nature with no distractions. A retreat for dedicated practitioners with a passion and thirst to become more awake, more conscious, more present. Where it’s not about learning more, achieving more, gaining more. Rather it's about letting go, surrendering and releasing to experience the freedom and truth of our nature.

That's what I was looking for. A group where practitioners inspire and support each other. Where the practices, intensive and challenging, lead us into a richer and deeper experience of who we already are.

It drives me nuts to read all the advertising that implies there is something ‘happiness’ ‘freedom’ ‘Yada yada’ that we haven’t got and some program, practice or someone can give us. If you’ve studied spiritual text and done the practice you've probably already decided that the direction you need to move in is inward and periods of stillness and silence, times of purification and cleansing can support that movement back to Essence. And together we are stronger.

Long story short, I couldn’t find such a retreat. SO I have designed the retreat I was looking for. I am invited and you are too! I am happy to hold space (after facilitating teacher training for many years it's kinda what I do). And this will be a practice of Seva.

If you are a seasoned practitioner or teacher experienced in fasting, silence, and practices that nurture transformation of the mind then the '7 DAY PROCESS' is for you. You are welcome to join if you possess the level of spiritual maturity, physical endurance, and mental strength required for such intensive inner work.

Please book your flight to arrive at Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX). When possible, Tribe Yoga will organize taxi sharing from the airport to reduce the cost. If you are staying in Chiang Mai you can jump in a public taxi-bus that cost a few euros

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
