Scarlett has been a yoga practitioner for more than 20 years and sharing her experience of yoga in many of its various forms with students for over 15 years. Her teaching style for asana originates from her years of study and training in many different styles including Ashtanga, Dynamic yoga, and Tantra yoga. Through simple and clear instructions, Scarlett offers a practical, lighthearted, fun, creative, and spontaneous approach to yoga suited to both beginners and more advanced students.
Emily constantly explores different inspirations of asana and various paths of yoga. Her passion for movement and body awareness coupled with her strong background in anatomy manifests in her teachings as clear, precise, thoughtful instruction. Emily loves sharing her knowledge with her students and feels especially rewarded when someone realizes that they can do something that they previously thought unattainable, breaking down those limitations we create in our mind. She feels a consistent gratitude for all the wonderful teachers she has met along her path.
He began practicing Yoga primarily for its healing benefits and to aid recovery from sporting injuries and noticed significant improvement in reduced recovery time, increased core strength and mental focus. His knowledge of Hatha, Ashtanga, Tantra, Kundalini Yoga and Advaita Vedanta has been deepened by the guidance of many teachers. His experience of these many disciplines from asana to meditation and philosophy has evolved through self discipline, practice and aspiration. His vibrant energy, positive input and expertise as a senior teacher and facilitator is a welcome addition to Tribe Yoga.
After completing 7 months of chemotherapy in 2010, Shelley explored yoga as a form of rehabilitation. Her passion for teaching was developed when she attended the Tribe Yoga 200-hour teacher training in Goa, 2012. The teachings, the practice, and the energy opened her eyes to her dream and true desire that is to teach yoga. In 2014, she attended another Tribe Yoga 200 hour teacher training as an assistant teacher. She has also studied intensively with Magic Pond Raja Yoga school in Seoul and Agama school in Thailand.
Born in 1979, in Tuscany, Italy, movement and the body as an instrument to create harmony have always been an integral part of Gaia's life. In 2011 she studied with Tribe completing the level 1 yoga teacher training. In the same year she studied Yoga for kids and Families with Rainbow Kids Yoga in Rome Italy. In 2014 she completed her level 2 training with Tribe. In 2015 she was a teacher assistant on two Tribe level 1 trainings and following that became a primary teacher on the Tribe teaching team. She has since taught on 3 Tribe one month yoga teacher training courses.
Kali is an experienced practitioner and yoga teacher trained in Hatha, Yin, and Flow. A decade of practice, training, and teaching have evolved to incorporate two ends of the spectrum from deep meditative Yin to a slow but strong Hatha providing plenty of opportunities to immerse and connect within. She gratefully draws inspiration from some of her favorite teachers: Tias Little, Sarah Powers, John Scott, Leela Sarti, Thich Nhat Hahn, Bhante Gunaratana.
Olga began her relationship with yoga in 2011 while trying to find relief from a stressful corporate career. Calmness, inner peace, and healing aspects of yoga led her to a dramatic re-evaluation of her lifestyle, work and way of service. As a yoga teacher, Olga focuses not only on physical but energetic healing in her practices through breath, kriya practices, and healing touch. She continues to deepen her knowledge through the study in Reiki and bio-energetic healing, aura vision, and chakra system evaluation.
