They can also help you organize tours in the area, recommend the best restaurants and cenotes as well as book a massage for you in your room. Its what you want, when you want it. You'll stay in one of the fabulous, private loft style apartments. Each has a full bath, king sized bed, fridge, kitchenette with coffee maker, and blender. All have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and Wi-Fi. Lofts 1, 2, and 4 also have private balconies with hammocks and a gas stove in the kitchenette and fold out couch.
The lofts are just below or next to the yoga studio, Tribal Tulum, and above the partner dive shop, Acuatic Tulum. They are on the bike path that joins Tulum Pueblo Magico to the Tulum Beach.
Spacious and luminous, they are in just the right spot to connect the beach and town so you can explore on your bike after amazing yoga and meditation.
This retreat allows you to shape your day respecting how you feel. Practice in Tribal's world-class studio with amazing teachers who are the best in the area. Our schedule includes 2 daily classes, full and new moon meditations and special intensives and workshops.
The teachers offer a variety of styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Iyengar, Restorative and our Karunta (wall ropes) class and myofascial roll and release.
Teachers are available for private classes if participants so desire, extra charge applies.
The personalized dive and snorkel tours with our sister dive shop at Aquatic Tulum work around your yoga schedule.They can organize tours and adventures from freediving, scuba diving or snorkeling in cenotes to archeological sites like Chichen Itza and Coba or Mayan purification ceremonies.

After class, you can ride your bike to the beach or take advantage of the 15% discount for diving and snorkeling in the nearby cenotes at our sister dive shop Aquatic Tulum. The location also lets you explore the magical Tulum Pueblo, the area's mystical Mayan archaeological sites as well as the magnificent Tulum Beach. Joanne has been sharing her humor, sense of vitality, creativity, and yoga practice with people in Tulum since 2006. She combines her years of yoga instruction with a lifetime of body knowledge developed as a competitive athlete. Her life philosophy of cherishing each moment and oneself is evident in each of her practices, reminding others that each breath and each moment is a gift. Joanne is accredited to teach yoga by the AAAI/ISMA (American Aerobic Association International/International Sports Medicine Association). Additionally a 100 Hour Yin Teacher Training, 2017 through YUMJI.
Daria found yoga more than 12 years ago and it has helped to heal her body, mind, and heart along the way of past injury. She has studied with Shiva Rea, Mathew Cohen, and Jorgen Christiansson in California and received her 300-hour Yoga Alliance certification from Daniel Aaron of radiantly Alive Yoga in Ubud, Bali. She teaches Restorative, Yin, and Children's yoga at Tribal.
Eugenia received her certification in Hatha yoga in 2006 and since 2009, her study and teaching are dedicated to the Iyengar method. She came to Tulum in 2014. In early 2015, she completed her grade II certification in the Iyengar tradition of yoga. She constantly updates her knowledge and teaching skills about the Iyengar method through workshops and seminars. Eugenia teaches Iyengar yoga five times a week at Tribal and one Saturday a month, she teaches a restorative Iyengar class. Tribal Yoga has wall-fitted ropes that are used in Eugenia’s classes to perfect the alignment in the asanas.
Ricardo is from Northern Mexico, a small town called Tampico. He developed his love for bodily movement and the interaction between body and mind through martial arts, loving both the traditional aspect and the competition. He began yoga to improve his alignment in competitions and immediately fell in love with its focus on balancing body and mind. He is new to teaching yoga but an old soul with years in martial arts and the mind-body connection. He received his training in 2015 in Vinyasa flow at Yoga Dicha in Tulum, where he now lives.
Mariana moved to Tulum just three years ago from Guadalajara, Mexico. She studied yoga in Playa del Carmen and received her certification in Vinyasa flow from Alan Montaño. Developing a dedicated and constant practice showed her the internal and external changes yoga brought about in herself. Subsequently, she decided to share the yoga practice as a teacher. Mariana shows her students how yoga can help them live less accelerated lives and be in the moment, thus healing physical and emotional wounds.
It all happens in one of Tribal Tulum's four loft apartments, on the bike path that joins Tulum Beach and Tulum Pueblo Magico. The shalla is a short distance from some of the area's amazing cenotes, underwater caves, and Mayan ruins in Tulum, Mexico, a magical spot in the state of Quintana Roo, south of Playa del Carmen and Cancun on the Yucatan peninsula.
Tribal Tulum hosts a world-class yoga studio on the 3rd floor with wood floors, wall ropes, tree top views, and amazing classes with fantastic teachers. The classes are in a variety of yoga styles so that you can experiment with what works best for your body and learn more about yourself.
Their partner dive shop, Acuatic Tulum, can take you to scuba dive, freedive, and snorkel in some of these amazing areas. Their connected and friendly staff can help you to organize tours that lead you other jungle adventures, Mayan heritage sites, and amazing nature preserves and areas.
The lofts have kitchenettes where you can prepare your own meals. They all have a fridge, coffee/tea maker, and blender. Tribal provides coffee, tea, purified water and a welcome continental breakfast, and fruit in your fridge. Steps away you can find many food options including vegan and vegetarian places. There is a supermarket within a 5 to 10-minute walk. You can also choose to explore one of several well known restaurants in Tulum Pueblo or along the Beach Road.

Cancún International Airport
Transfer available for additional US$225 per person
Please book flight to arrive at Cancun International Airport (CUN). There are three different options to get from the airport to Tulum and the lofts at Tribal: renting a car, private transfer, or public bus.
Tribal Yoga Tulum can organize a private transfer from the airport to Tribal. The driver picks you up as you exit customs and will have you there in about 90 minutes. The costs for the private transfer is 225 USD Round Trip. Tribal Tulum can organize this service in advance with your full name and travel details. You pay at the studio on arrival in cash.
There are several shared services on line including NAST Transfers, Happy Transfer, USA Transfers, among others. You book those online from Cancun to Tribal Tulum on Avenida Coba Sur.
The only bus company that services the airport is ADO. Buses are comfortable, air conditioned and safe. Check the departure times online on their website. If the direct connections don’t meet your time schedule, you can still take the bus and change in Playa del Carmen to a bus to Tulum. The bus takes about 2.5 to 3 hours depending on connections. Cost is approximately 20 USD. From the bus stop in Tulum, you can either walk the 2 kilometers or take a taxi for about 35 pesos to the Tribal Tulum, Yoga Lofts Dive.
