The retreat will take place in a beautiful mountain lodge called Nythun Høyfjellstue, which is located in the beautiful Valdres Mountain. Nythun Lodge is situated in a pictorial place on the bank of a charming lake surrounded by dense forests. It has beautiful cabins for singles or doubles.

All rooms were fully refurbished in 2010 and feature new, tastefully designed interiors and tiled bathrooms with underfloor heating. Seven of the sixteen rooms have been adapted to suit visitors with allergies and have wood laminate flooring.

They have six apartments, three on the ground floor and three on the first floor, all with same-level access. The apartments are well equipped with two bedrooms, a lounge with television, and a fully featured kitchen with cooker, a dish washer, and fridge. All apartments have a large terrace or balcony and modern, tiled bathrooms.

They also have a log-cabin in the resort. The cabin has four bedrooms and sleeps up to eight people. It has a kitchen and lounge with an open fireplace and a dining corner. The new, larger log cabin has six bedrooms, two comfortable bathrooms, and a sitting room with an open fireplace. Other features include a steam shower and washing machine.

For the romantically inclined, they can offer a newly restored two-story cabin from the 18th century. Upstairs, there is a double bed with warming furs and downstairs you will find the entrance area and an elegant bathroom.

    Nina is the founder and director of Tønsberg Yoga. She is a mother of three kids and is a very gifted yoga teacher who is very passionate about yoga and its philosophy. Leading a full yogic life style has transformed her life dramatically and inspired her to help others to improve their own lives.

    Swami Kashi has been a monk in the yogic tradition of Swami Sivananda for the past 16 years. Though born in the west, he has been accepted and taught in a traditional community of Sadhus (holy people) of Uttarkashi in the Himalayas. He has mastered the Vedanta philosophy and underwent advanced training in the Sanskrit language. Swami Kashi is an internationally renowned teacher, who teaches all over the world the deepest secrets of the ancient yogis of India with passion and humor.

Arrival by bus

The Oslo - Fagernes - Beitostølen / Årdal is the main transport link between Oslo and Fagernes with frequent daily departures. The Lillehammer - Fagernes - Sogn - Voss - Bergen route is a good alternative for travelers arriving from Bergen and the west coast.

Arrival by train

Fagernes - Gol is a local route offering a connection to the Bergensbanen main train line between Bergen and Oslo, while Fagernes - Gjøvik offers several daily departures from Gjøvik with connections onwards to Hamar, Elverum, and Oslo Airport, Gardermoen (OSL).
