Welcome to Hanoi - the charming capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), you will be warmly welcomed by the tour guide and transfer to check-in by the standard time at 14:00.
After a short rest, you will visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, inclusive of Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, as well as his private residence from 1954 until 1969. The wooden ethnic minority style house, which was built on stilts, is surrounded by lovely peaceful gardens. In the same complex, you will see the One Pillar Pagoda founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. This structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.
Your next stop will be the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Constructed in 1070, the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Later, you will visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, then take a cyclo tour around the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
After breakfast and check out hotel, you will be transferred to Pu Luong Nature Reserve via a breathtaking mountain pass. You will enjoy the panoramic view of the whole valley along the way. Then, you will arrive at Pu Luong Retreat in time for a delicious lunch with local dishes. After lunch, you will check in the room and have some free time to explore the beautiful retreat with its captivating views of the surrounding and tranquil setting.
This afternoon, you will drive to a suspension bridge over the Cham River where you will begin the walk passing stunning water wheels to reach a local fisherman’s house. Then, you will arrive at Tan Lap bridge, disembark, and drive back to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner.
You will need to wake up early for your first yoga exercise following the instruction of the local master (Vietnamese master). After breakfast, you will take a light cycling trip into the beautiful rice terraces through small paths to a picturesque village sitting on the foot of a towering mountain. You will cycle through the villages, wild fields, ponds, rivers, mountains, and open land until you will reach your lunch spot.
After a picnic lunch, you may enjoy your free time refreshing at a nearby river. Then, you will walk up to the pickup point and drive back to Pu Luong Retreat. Dinner and overnight will be at Pu Luong Retreat.
Wake up early for the second yoga exercise following the instruction of the local master (Vietnamese master). After breakfast and check out the Retreat, you will get closer to the village life and interact with locals living upon the hills above the Retreat. You will get to know the daily life of the locals, walk around working farmland and rice fields, and learn to make rice wine and weave colorful textiles. Lunch will be served at a local house with a local family. After lunch, you will return to Hanoi. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
After breakfast and check out hotel, you will journey east for four hours through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta where you will see everyday Vietnamese village life to reach to Halong Bay, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO since 1994 and 2006.
At 12:30, you will get on the boat and enjoy a warm welcome by the crew time along with a welcome drink.

15:00 Arriving at Luon Cave by tender boat. We will discover the area’s tranquility by kayaks or rowing boats. Relaxing on the kayaks and boats is a more brilliant way to really experience the special view of this sea.
16:00 Stopping over at Titov Island. We will have various choices to be on your own, having sunbath, swimming or conquering the peak of the Titov to admire the Bay’s panorama (strongly recommended).
17:30 Going back to the boat for relaxation at the dusk. Enjoy FREE seasonal fruits on the sundeck. Other drinks will be subject to special rates or seasonal promotions.
18.30 Joining a cooking demonstration on the sundeck. Try to make it well and check how well you can cook or prepare for Vietnamese foods.
19.30 An elegant dinner with local gourmet will be served.
After dinner: Free choice of evening activities (movie watching, fishing tools, and guitars, cards, etc. are all available). Some activities are to be ordered in advance.
06:00 Waking up at dawn for morning exercise (Tai Chi Quan) or enjoying beautiful moments when a blazing sunrise breaks the clouds of the island on the bay (exercises are upon a desire).

07:45 Tender boat will pick us up to visit the Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave, discovered in 1901, and now being a must-to-see tourist attraction for its extensive space. After the rock formation and millions of years of water erosion, the cave is now featured by hundreds of marvelous stalactites, stalagmites and grandeur stone chambers which are incomparable with any cave in the Gulf of Tonkin.
(Shoes, sandals and convenient clothes are recommended to visit the Cave).
09:15 Coming back to our cruise for freshening check-out. Cabins will be cleaned up soon whilst we can enjoy drink and sunbath on the half-open-air sundeck of the Gray Line.
10:30 Enjoying a tasty farewell buffet lunch while the boat continuously cruises back.
11:30 Time for us to say goodbye with the Crew, and give them feedback about the trip.
We can have some tea or other drinks at Gray Line Lobby and wait for our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi
You will be transferred back to Hanoi.
At around 17:15, you will be picked up from Thang Long Citadel and transferred to watch The Quintessence of Tonkin Show. The Show draws inspiration from the spiritual history of the nearby Thay Pagoda. With years in the making, hundreds of performers, an interactive stage, state-of-the-art technology, and a stunning setting, this live spectacle is an unmissable highlight of any trip to Vietnam. After the show, return to Thang Long citadel with the show shuttle bus.

You will need to wake up early for your third yoga exercise following the instruction of the local master (Vietnamese master). After breakfast, you will enjoy a relaxing morning in the capital city. Check out from the hotel will be at noontime then you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Siem Reap - Treasure of Cambodia Kingdom. Upon arrival, you will be picked up by the local tour guide and transferred to check-in at the hotel.
Breakfast will be at the hotel. You will explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, a three-kilometer-square-walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire. The famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300-meter-long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon - a huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas - impressive rite and sandstone pyramid.
Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall with deeply carved nag as demons and other mythological beings. Last, you will visit Ta Prohm Temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty. Giant trees have grown here for centuries. This afternoon, you will visit Angkor Wat Temple, Cambodia's ancient temple is one of the wonders of the oriental world. Masterpieces of decorative details as well as of architectural style, its awe-inspiring ruins survive as a testament to the spectacular achievements of Southeast Asia's greatest civilization.
It is a replica of the universe according to Hindu mythology. It is composed of the Mount Meru surrounded by the continents and the oceans. Its extraordinary bas-reliefs describe some Khmer epics and myths. Angkor Wat's five famous towers rise into the sky, a geometrical arrangement of numerous galleries, adorned with beliefs and the stone images of celestial Apsara dancers as well as portals, chambers, and courtyards. Last, you will visit Pre Rup that was built in the 10th Century by Rajendravarman and you may enjoy the sunset here. In the evening, you will enjoy a buffet dinner with Apsara dance show - a taste of classical Khmer culture.
You will need to wake up early for your four and last yoga exercise at Wat Svay Romeat Pagoda, following the instruction of the local master (Khmer master). After the exercise, you will return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest. This morning, you will visit Wat Thmei (Killing Field) which contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. Some of the bones were recovered from a nearby well while others are the remains of soldiers who died on a nearby battlefield. You will then continue to visit the "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecole" the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts.
This afternoon, you will visit Floating Villages located ten kilometers south of Siem Reap. Then, you will take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here, you will see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap. Then, you will visit Wat Bo, a highly respected pagoda founded in the 18th Century, which contains very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be from the late 19th Century. Afterward, you will continue to one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, which is also called the “Old Market” where anything and everything is for sale.
After breakfast, you will be at leisure until check out from the hotel (the standard check-out time is at 12:00) and transfer to the airport for your onward flight. On the way, if time permits, you will visit Puok, the real and original place of the Artisans d’Angkor silk, where you will see the full process of silk-producing from the silkworms munch on the Mulberry, leaves to spin their cocoons which used to make silk warp. Then, you will continue to Siem Reap International Airport (REP) for your departure flight. End of services.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve located roughly 180 South West of Hanoi has a total area of 17,662 hectares and ¾ of the nature reserve is a primary tropical forest. At the same time, this is the living place of ethnic Muong and Thai people. In Thai language, Pu Luong means the highest peak of the village.
