This open to all Yin yoga teacher training course is a 12-day full-time training program, consisting of level one and two. Dhugal Meachem will lead and support the entire group through the challenge of becoming confident in your own potential, while embodying the most important knowledge by having practical experience with the essential skills.

Applying long-held non-muscular torque on your bodies, Yin stimulates and strengthens your skeletal, connective, fascial, and ligament tissues, mobilizes your joints, regulates, and soothes your nervous system.
Upon successful completion, 100% attendance, and following the code of conduct, you will receive a certificate of completion from the Tribe Academy, recognized by Yoga Alliance, for this teacher training program.
Dhugal studied Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, and slow, rejuvenating Yin Yoga with his three root teachers Patrick Creelman, Noah Mazé, and Paul Grilley. His teacher training and yoga classes are a vibrant mix of these three insightful teachers. He is an E-RYT 500 level Yoga Alliance teacher, which allows him to teach those new to yoga, focused workshops, and new and growing teachers.
This teacher training will take place in Koh Samui, Thailand. This wonderful location allows you the magic of the village and its small shops, cafes, and beaches, while being tucked away in the secluded tropical gardens and 100 year old traditional teak Thai house that hosts the yoga shala, cafe, and spa.
It's ten minutes to the airport and public transport options are a short walk away to any of the island's main attractions. A weekly walking street market in the village is a favorite for island locals and visitors alike. It's a perfect option for those looking for a variety of choices from their stay.

Every day during the training, you will be provided with two of the famous Yogarden vegetarian buffets. These are a combination of the fresh, organic, and locally sourced items found on the cafe menu, as well as a variety of other new dishes. Raw, vegan, and options of healthy vegetarian Thai specialty dishes are available. Fresh juices and smoothies are available throughout the day as well as the full cafe menu.
The village offers many options for relaxing, strolling, socializing, or sunbathing on the beach. You don't need a motorbike or car during your stay to enjoy them all. Weekly night market is a favorite of locals and visitors alike and is very popular with guests or trainees.
Excursions to many of the island's attractions can be arranged with the receptionist, who is also a licensed travel agent. There are a lot of activities that you can try when yoga is not on the agenda, such as paddle board yoga, snorkeling, dive trips, boat tours to the surrounding islands or marine parks, visiting Samui's beautiful waterfalls, going to the natural white sand beaches, or to the mountains.
The Yogarden Samui has a small but beautiful garden spa and a therapy room offering a range of treatments from traditional Thai massage, oil massage, and many other options to allow you to get maximum relaxation opportunities when possible. You can also try floatation, which is the practice of using a sensory deprivation tank to stimulate the mind to enter a deep state of meditation. You may book any of these treatments for additional costs.
Please book your flight to arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK). From there, take a flight to Samui International Airport (USM). Transfer from and to the airport is available upon request.
For a cheaper option, three-in-one tickets can be purchased online for flight, bus, and boat to the island. Overnight train service will bring you from Bangkok to Surat Thani town, where a bus and boat will get you to Koh Samui.
