Secrets Royal Beach is a 4.5-star luxury resort featuring five on-site restaurants, a pool with lazy river, and situated on a pristine sugar sand beach. Training is open to dedicated students with at least one year of consistent practice. Application should accompany a letter of recommendation from your current, primary teacher. Pre-course work, mostly reading and essays, consists of 20 hours of the training and must be brought with you or submitted via email prior to the start of the training.

Vinyasa Yoga will be the basis of the asana program and multiple meditation traditions will be offered. Students will follow the wise progression of Ashtanga Yoga bridging it with creative Vinyasa Flow sequences. Our knowledge and guidance is based on traditional Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga and Hatha Yoga methods, with inspiration taken from modern Yin and Restorative Yoga practices.

    Jess Meyer is a yogini, belly dancer, hula dancer, old soul, perpetual optimist and Bija Retreats coordinator. Jess has been dancing for over 15 years and through yoga has found new movement and meaning to her dance as well as bringing new found mindfulness to her daily life. During Jess's classes you will be reminded to observe your surroundings, focus on your positive energy, and love your body for all the magical things it can do.

  • Rachel Roberts

    Rachel's greatest talent is her ability to offer ancient philosophies in a way that is approachable and applicable to the modern day trials. Whether it's one-on-one or in a room with thousand of people she can help you move into your true, powerful nature and to develop a supportive culture around you. Rachel has been a featured presenter at conferences, festivals, and educational forums. She has served as a mentor and judge for various business and artistic incubator programs. She is a successful business owner and job creator in her own right.

  • Lisa Snowden

    Lisa is an E-RYT and NAMA certified Ayurvedic health counselor. She specializes in folding the sister discipline of Ayurveda into the conscious life of the yogi. A highly skilled yoga teacher, Lisa has continued her education through the Himalaya Institute and she travels around the world, bringing yoga to resort communities throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and beyond.

  • Sarah Crabtree

    Sarah Crabtree is a yogini, runner, social media sage, and proud mother to twin sons. As a mother to two wild and wonderful little boys, she knows a thing or two about the challenges associated with finding balance in the midst of chaos. If you are looking to connect with your body and breath through a fiery flow in order to find equanimity, Sarah is your girl. Sarah is the voice of inspiration behind The Yoga Bar & Bija Retreat's social media outlets and also offers her guidance serving as a mentor for Bija Yoga TT.

    Adam Stonebraker is a yogi, zenmaker, meditation guru, and all around great human being. As a spiritual seeker from a very young age, Adam was naturally led to study Buddhist meditation. Adam's gentle flow classes focus on mindfulness through breath connection, encouraging students to explore conscious movement, all while being fulfilled with divine spiritual awareness.
