Our retreats are about connecting to nature, to each other, and to yourself. Women have been gathering in circles since the beginning of time to share in sacred ceremony, empower each other and have fun. This retreat is for anyone who wants to get their power back. Be sure to participate in this yoga retreat to have a life-changing experience that you will treasure forever.
This retreat will be held at Guinevere Guest Farm situated just outside of Cape Town, South Africa.
The accommodation is surrounded, almost cradled, by majestic mountains in the Tulbagh valley on a nature-full farm. Whether you stay in a private room with en-suite bathroom and a balcony or whether you share a room with one or two others, there are many places to relax and reflect in this large retreat farmhouse that you have all to yourself for the duration of the week.
All rooms are beautiful, large, and comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, seating areas, and balconies overlooking the Tulbagh Basin. The private rooms are equipped with seating areas and en-suite bathrooms with private balconies. Meanwhile, shared rooms are facilitated with double beds and en-suite bathrooms.
On this 7-day adventure:
Carly will be our host and resident plant guide, sharing her love and knowledge of edible and medicinal plants. Her approaches range from using well-established modern herbalism practices to personal skills she's learned and adapted to while living out on the farm for the past 6 years. She will also be guiding you through elemental yoga and primal movement classes, always looking to nature to guide and inspire.
Simone Beckerling, our special wonder-women healer will be facilitating the Sweat Lodge ceremonies. A Sweat lodge is a physical and mental cleansing practice originating from most native traditions and the sweat lodge ceremony is practiced in some form by every culture in the world in order to facilitate healing, purification, and relaxation.
Simone ''Songweaver'' Beckerling has been walking the Red Path for over a decade. Simone has completed her 4,7, 9 and 13 day Red Path vision quests and given the blessing to ''pour'' for the SweatLodge by her elders. Simone is an experienced Sweat Lodge facilitator who understands the subtlety of holding space, bringing people back to Mother Earth and back to their hearts.
We welcome all women to join us on this adventure, be inspired by, and make lifelong connections with awesome, like-minded women.
In this retreat, you will have a full day excursion horse riding, canyoning and a hike to a waterfall nature reserve.

Carly has always felt a deep connection with the earth and all the creatures living therein. After completing her studies as an interior designer, her heart guided her to another somewhat less traveled road entirely, as she spent months living in the South African bush and gaining her field guide certification. Combining her various and varied skills, Carly brings a stylishly earthy insight into nature’s bounty, sharing her knowledge about herbalism, wild food foraging, farm-to-table cooking, and natural movement at The Wild Love.
Modern troubadour Nate Maingard’s transcendent folk aesthetic encompasses irresistible hooks, uplifting enlightenment, and shamanistic energy. Nate has garnered favorable comparisons to a bevy of classic and current songwriters, including John Lennon, Cat Stevens, Jack Johnson, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, and Nick Drake. He’s earned prime media exposure across mediums, received his National Arts Festival’s prestigious Standard Bank Ovation Award, won the hearts of a highly engaged worldwide fanbase, affectionately dubbed “Nateives”; and toured internationally.
The retreat takes place on a private farm in Tulbagh, a 90-minute drive out of Cape Town and the ideal space for the utmost rest, relaxation, and healing to happen. The farm is surrounded by mountains and pristine fynbos where there is plenty of nature walks and rescue animals to keep you busy.
Nourishment is an important part of The Wild Love Experience and integrates not only in vibrant diet but through sincere human connection. We serve organic meals created with love and packed with superfoods, providing the nutrients needed to energize and revitalize from the inside out.
All recipes will be gifted to you in an E-book so you can move forward inspired to sustain the nourishing practices of The Wild Love Experience.
