    Saturday - April 29, 2017

    You will be picked up from the airport to the accommodation and stay overnight there.

    Sunday - April 30, 2016

    You will be picked up after breakfast for the full day tour to seven cities and Fire Lake. You will be visiting Pico do Carvão, Lagoas das Empadadas e Canário, Vista do Rei, Cerrado das Freiras, Lagoa de Santiago, Sete Cidades Parish, Escalvado, pineapple plantation, and Ferraria, where you can experience "warm bath on the sea". This is the cream of the Azores!

    You will also have a hiking excursion through Mata do Canário - São Miguel hiking trail. This linear hiking trail is easy, extends about 12 kilometers, and the average time spent to finish is about three hours.

    Afterwards, you will have lunch at Café Canto do Cais in Capelas. It will cost about 14 EUR for fish or meat dishes, with coffee, wine, and all extras included. For the night, Restaurant Galego and its famous beef is recommended for dinner.

    Monday - May 1, 2016

    You will visit Santa Iría, Gorreana tea factory, Pico do Ferro, Furnas Parish, Caldeiras of Furnas, hot springs, Furnas Lake, Terra Nostra Garden, and Our Lady of Peace Chapel. You will also have an experience to cook food underground. The entrance to Terra Nostra Garden (5 EUR) is not included.

    You will also have a hiking excursion through Furnas - São Miguel hiking trail. This circular hiking trail is easy and extends about 9.5 kilometers. At noon, you will have lunch at Tony's with its famous cozido. It costs 14 EUR with coffee, wine, and all extras included. Later at night, you are recommended to eat dinner at Mané cigano bar.

    Tuesday - May 2, 2016

    You will visit ceramic factory, Pico da Barrosa, Lagoa do Fogo, Caldeira Velha, Salto do Cabrito, liquor factory, and Ribeira Grande City. Entrance fee to Caldeira Velha (2 EUR per person) is not included.

    You will also have a hiking excursion through Praia - Lagoa do Fogo - São Miguel hiking trail. This circular hiking trail has medium difficulty and extends about 11 kilometers. At noon, you will have lunch at Alabode fish and meat. It costs 14 EUR with coffee, wine, and all extras included. Later at night, you are recommended to eat dinner at Cais 20 restaurant.

    Wednesday to Thursday - May 3 to 4, 2016

    In this nature adventure day, you will visit Santa Iría, Salto do Cavalo, Povoação Village, Pico Longo, Ponta do Sossego, Vista dos Barco, Nordeste Village, and Parque Natural dos Caldeirões.

    At noon, you will eat lunch at Casa do Pasto Cardoso, Nordeste. The fish and meat meals cost 14 EUR with coffee, wine, and all extras included. Later at night, you are recommended to eat at Mandarina restaurant.

    Friday - May 5, 2016

    This is a day for you to experience traditional local lunch and a tour to Praia de Ribeira Quente or Caloura. You will have optional activities such as whale watching, swim with dolphins, and many more. For a group of 12 people, it will cost 70 EUR per person and for a group of more than 12 people it will cost 65 EUR per person.

    Please note that the events of the day are dependable upon the weather.

    During this retreat, you will have tours to a lot of cities in Azores, liquor factory, pineapple plantation, hot springs, Ferraria, and Gorreana tea factory. There will be also several hiking excursions:

    • Furnas - São Miguel hiking trail
    • Mata do Canário - São Miguel hiking trail
    • Praia - Lagoa do Fogo - São Miguel hiking trail

    Please note that some tours do not include entrance fees.

      Aneta, or Yoganeta, is a London-based yoga teacher and practitioner. She shares and teaches what she believes in and what she is passionate about, which is that life is to be lived with all its glory and yoga is a therapeutic tool to serve you. She dances, hikes, surfs, snowboards, and cycles, adding the hint of a no-nonsense yoga to make it available in the form of playful, therapeutic and adventures class, workshop, a weekend away, or a holiday escape with a difference.

    This retreat will take place in Azores, Portugal.

      "Aneta is an inspirational teacher and a great friend. She always strives to learn new topics and fields of study, then expand and share her knowledge in those aspects of her life she is passionate about. She has many passions, and therefore is quite a busy lady! While doing an amazing job at her nine to five office seat (in a Lotus position), outside of work, she continuously studies, expanding her horizons in the health and wellbeing field. I have known Aneta as a yoga instructor, and now a great friend, who teaches not only the challenging yoga poses, but listens closely to personal concerns, then goes away to research the source of the problem, and finally structures the sessions to try and fix the concern at hand. For example, as I enrolled onto her headstand and arm balances workshops, I raised a concern that I had wrist problems. So Aneta closely focused the sessions on how to practice arm balances and other exercises where wrists were involved, in a safe manner, while strengthening wrists, allowing me to practice those positions, which would otherwise not be recommended.
