Alexa Silvaggio

Alexa has been practicing yoga since 2005 and is well versed and trained in Vinyasa, Restorative, Power, and Slow flow yoga by Pure Yoga NYC. She believes that yoga can benefit everyone, whether your intention is to become stronger, flexible, serene, or to cultivate a greater sense of self awareness. She is an ambassador for Lululemon Athletica, and Women's Health Magazine. She is an inspiring member of the New York City yoga community and is privileged to share this ancient practice.

JL Chiemingo

Jenniferlyn’s goal is to provide her students with the opportunity to experience genuine joy and love every time they step onto the mat. JL’s yoga teaching style is a creation all her own. Influenced by yoga greats like Shiva Rea and Seane Corn, she is both flowing and grounded. Her classes are joyful, loving, spiritual, and inspiring. JL is listed E-RYT with Yoga Alliance taught for more than 14 years in Seattle and now leads group classes in Northern California. She teaches at national yoga festivals.

Melissa Smith

Melissa has a passion for offering sustainable yoga that meets you where you are today, just as you are. Through the transformative power of yoga and travel, she offers experiences that are accessible to every body by teaching to the unique needs of the students in front of her. Yoga retreats allow us to be immersed into other cultures, so that we begin to see clearly our uniqueness as well as our similarities. Through these fun and transformative adventures, Melissa draws out in a unique way, a sense of community, restoration and the ability to see and appreciate the beauty in each moment.

Rebecca Butler

Rebecca Butler has been practicing yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2008. Sheʼs studied with many yoga masters, the most influential of which are Ana Forrest and Baron Baptiste. She teaches in a unique style of meticulous flow designed to help you progress in your practice through a healing combination of strength and flexibility. She is the lead teacher and studio manager at Karmany Yoga in Fort Worth, Texas. Rebecca Butler is also a creator of The Sanctuary Yoga Room and DreamCatcher Training, she is an E-RYT 500, certified Holistic Life Coach and published author.

Janet Corvino

Janet is a yoga instructor and a teacher trainer. She is also an innovator of hosting yoga retreats worldwide. Her training is Anusara based with outcroppings in Therapeutic, Vinyasa, Power, and Hot yoga. Janet loves to have her students play on the mat, explore, and create deep openings in body and spirit. Her classes are a mix of alignment cues and wisdom based themes. Janet was part of the yoga teacher training faculty in Vancouver, B.C. from 2012 to 2017. Janet instructs trainees in a 200, 300-hour, and the Hot certification programs.

Kilty Kaimana Inafuku

Kilty’s kept yoga a staple in her daily routine and completed her Yoga Alliance compliant 200-hour teacher training under Jay Co and is currently training with Jason Crandell for her 500-hour. Her goal as a yoga educator is to help others discover different facets of yoga for themselves. In her classes, you can expect a physical challenge. Sometimes she’ll work through that challenge with a playful attitude and sometimes step into a more introspective and meditative space of observation. As a teacher, she encourages and focuses on making mindful choices based on what you need that day.

Hillary Easom

A passionate traveler and yogini, Hillary Easom (E-RYT, R-PYT) has explored all seven continents and published many articles about her adventures. Since a rowing injury led her to yoga in the late 1990s, Hillary has studied various styles of yoga including Iyengar, Vinyasa, Yin, and therapeutics. Her classes combine elements of all of these, with a strong focus on breath and mindful movement. Her background in education (B.A. Boston College, M.Ed. University of Washington) strengthens Hillary’s ability to teach effectively in a nurturing manner. She believes that yoga can benefit people.

Caroline Graham-Wood

Caroline is fascinated with anatomy and physiology as well as the science of Ayurveda, whilst touching on the more spiritual aspects of yoga, keeping in mind that yoga should be fun and complement your life. Caroline has been teaching yoga since 2011 and introduced SUP yoga to her practice in 2014. She believes anyone and everyone can benefit from practicing yoga and SUP yoga. Caroline’s classes enable each student to challenge their own physical and mental limits, developing strength, flexibility, awareness, and balance.

Rosie Acosta

Rosie is an expert at helping her students cultivate a life of mindfulness, presence, and intention. She is known as a teacher who is skilled in her ability to guide students into experiencing a deeper connection with themselves and exploring the consistent changes of life. Through yoga, healthy lifestyle, mantra, and self-inquiry, she aspires to help others find their unique gifts and fire within.​ She has used her experience teaching her students working in her community and has worked with elite Olympic athletes, NFL champions, NBA All-Stars, At Risk Youth and Afghanistan Veterans.

Honestly, I went on a retreat last year that I thought was the best trip ever I had taken for myself. Then this trip blew the last one out of the water. It was the people... I met such wonderful new friends and then Gia, who was just amazing. And the location was gorgeous, with abundant nature and adventure around every corner. Bhutan was beyond amazing, it's beauty can't be imagined. This is my fourth trip with Travel Yogi; Galapagos with Liz Arch, Iceland with Elizabeth Rowan, Kenya with Liz Arch and now Bhutan with Erica Jung. Travel Yogi is easy to deal with and I trust that the accommodations will always be top notch, I haven't been disappointed yet. The yoga is always equally spectacular as well, I enjoy getting personal instruction from A-list instructors. They have all been a treat. I can't think of a better way to see the world and havemade great friends on every trip. I can't wait to start planning my next adventure to Vietnam and Cambodia! My wife and I love The Travel Yogi!

Shannon's guidance with each yoga session was always on target for our needs - the chateau and it's staff were amazing; the food and wine a treat beyond expectations; the location breathtaking; the tours incredibly enjoyable and enlightening...
