Accommodation

The home in Koh Phangan

The Source's sustainable sanctuary in Koh Phangan is nestled between the jungle and the Gulf of Thailand, where you will connect, dream, and celebrate.

Khao Ra Bungalows

Each house and space is a simple and serene retreat. Similar to communal spaces, The Source applied a nature-oriented vision with an eye for detail. Khao Ra Bungalows also operates a sauna and ice baths.

The cozy dining area serves some of the best food, with a vegetarian menu lovingly crafted from diverse inspirations across Southeast Asia and beyond. You'll be delighted with the variety and flavors of every meal.

In the rooms, you’ll feel cozy and immersed in the jungle. Choose between the luxury mezzanine houses and sunset bungalows, designed to harmonize with the natural surroundings.

With mountain or sea views from each, there are nine bungalows (five sunset bungalows and four mezzanines) for up to 22 people (sharing).

All rooms come with fans and a private bathroom that has a heated shower and water from the mountain spring. The Source can also equip each bungalow for couples, individuals, or shared occupancy.

Deluxe mezzanine

This is the new accommodation option, with a living room and a big terrace with sunset mountain views. The mezzanine-style rooms allow for maximum comfort and space to relax.

Sunset bungalows

Rustic yet clean, these bungalows are tucked into the gardens on the hillside, with panoramic sunset views.

Program

Why join?

Nature is complex, so we don’t have to be - that is her gift to us. The philosophy is to connect with this simple truth. In nature, you will play, waking up our senses, feeling alive, connecting deeper with who we are. The nature of Koh Phangan and especially here at The Source is high powered - you will adventure, trekking into the national park to waterfalls, views, and learning about the wildlife from local experts.

Experience yourself deeper: in presence with meditation and yoga, and in expression with activities like conscious relating, singing circles, dance, and AcroYoga - a magical slice of many of the heart-opening activities on offer here on our crystal island.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Book your flight to arrive at Samui Airport (USM). The most convenient way to arrive in Koh Phangan is to fly to this airport, then take a ferry to Thong Sala on Koh Phangan. From there, The Source can provide transportation to the retreat center.

An alternative and more affordable route is to fly to Surat Thani (URT) on the mainland, then take a bus to Donsak, and a ferry service to Koh Phangan. This route is considerably longer but even if you stay a night somewhere along the way, it will still save you quite a bit over flights to Samui, especially during high seasons (December - March).

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 10 days before arrival.
