Your teacher can make the biggest difference to your experience of yoga.

Yoga teachers bring lightness and a bit of fun back into yoga and will work with you to find the ideal practice for your needs. All retreat packages, except fitness kickstart, offer a further 120-minutes of spa pampering. "I attended one of Amanda's retreats in June. I delayed reviewing it as I wanted to write something which was beautiful and profound. I gave up on that and decided on the simple truth. The retreat is what you decide to make of it and what you bring to it. It is beautiful and peaceful and, for me, the beginning of change. I enjoyed the juice and smoothie diet and the care and attention of everyone including Amanda, Kadek, Dewi, De Cip."

"We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at the Seventh Seal Retreat recently experiencing the Nourish and Nurture package. The villa is absolute luxury and the attention to detail by Amanda and her team is exceptional. We did not want to leave! We were taught so much by lovely Andrea in relation to nourishing our bodies and have taken away some amazing recipes. The group of people we got to share our week with were also a highlight of our time at Seventh Seal. I cannot recommend the retreats highly enough."

"The Nourish and Nurture retreat really does live up to its name! With the right mix of relaxation, yoga, learning, day trips and cooking, it really was what I was chasing for a bit of down time. I was pleasantly surprised how much I learnt about whole foods, thanks to Andrea from The Green Gourmet. The recipes already got straight into practice at home! The important point to make about this retreat is that no sessions are compulsory and absolutely no feeling of pressure if you do not attend. Most of us skipped a session here and there and it was totally fine. Each person has different interests and needs which is totally embraced here. If you come here single, as a couple or with friends and family, everyone is made to feel incredibly welcome and nurtured! The whole experience is enhanced with 5-star spacious, luxurious rooms, many little quiet time areas and an impressive pool. It is down a cul de sac so there is very little traffic, and it feels like you are in a little village with local homes not far away and a number of rice paddy fields too. Depending on where your room is, you may hear the roosters, so take your ear plugs if you are noise sensitive, but it is not that bad at all. It feels ultra exclusive because the rooms are so limited, which is just superb, because you are not fighting for a deck chair by the pool! So in saying this, if you want to squirrel yourself away and have quiet time with no socializing, this is not the place for you. Every meal is eaten with your small group. I was not sure about this at first, but quickly saw it was a lovely way to get to know like minded people who were seeking for nutritious cooking and a healthy lifestyle from all backgrounds and ages. But you can still have enough solo time by the pool or in the retreat lounge areas reading a book. It is a relatively new retreat, so they are very open to suggestions and feedback, which was a great way to be! My feedback to them was to have a bowl of fruit always available because early mornings before 7 a.m., there are no staff, and with time zone adjustment you can wake up quite early and starve. One more thing was to have a tea or coffee station at the ready because you do not always want to be ringing the staff for a cup of tea. All in all, absolutely loved this retreat and would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks Amanda and the team."

"From the minute we walked through the large wooden doors, we were surrounded by luxury, friendly and helpful staff where nothing was too much trouble. This retreat was just lovely, from early morning yoga to wonderful cooking lessons from Andrea, excursions to see parts of Bali most tourists do not see and of course the overall management from Amanda and support from Made. We could not have wanted any more. Thank you to all at the retreat. We will certainly return."

"There were beautiful, spacious bedrooms with luxury bathrooms. Plenty of room to enjoy the company of family and friends in the different areas of the villa and also to have some private, quiet time if required. This is a perfect place to relax in luxury and then just outside the door is the real Bali with rice paddy fields, markets and everything which makes this an incredible place to have a holiday. All the staff are pleasant, happy and we felt so sad leaving them after our 3 week holiday with family and friends. Quite simply a little bit of heaven on earth. Thank you Amanda and everyone of your staff for making it one of the best holidays that I have ever had!"

"My stay at the Seventh Seal Retreat was superb. Amanda and her team are professional all the way. The organic food was varied and delicious. The retreat program was well balanced and just what I was looking for. I enjoyed starting the day with meditation and yoga in the beautiful surrounds of the yoga room. The villa is in a quiet location. I felt relaxed the moment I walked through the doors. The suites are beautiful and well appointed. The pool and relaxation areas offer plenty of space to enjoy quiet time in the beautiful garden surrounds. I would not hesitate to return to this little piece of paradise."

"From the moment you enter this amazing retreat, you are aware of how much effort Amanda has gone to, to ensure that your experience is nothing but five star quality. The villa itself is breath taking with plenty of places for you to have your own time out. The activities offered are extremely beneficial and provided from very experienced teachers like yoga, meditation, nutritional workshops. This retreat is highly reccomended if you are travelling alone or in a group, perfect for a girls trip away or some reflection time for yourself. The food is delicious, you will not go hungry. I am still craving some of their dishes."

"5 day of wellness included daily yoga, organic and delicious food as well as nutritional workshops. Each item in the agenda was 100 percent optional with no judgement or pressure. The pool is divine as are the rooms and all the employees who are committed to your time and experience. I could not imagine anywhere more special, the complete experience was brilliant."

"A lot of thought has obviously gone into the development on the Seventh Seal Retreat. Architecturally perfect. Beautifully appointed sleeping, living and relaxing spaces were so many that you probably will not get to use them all. They allow an easy flow from building to building through stunningly maintained gardens, and clustered around a very inviting large pool and sun deck. And although breathtakingly beautiful and luxurious, the villa has a calm, peaceful, tranquil ambiance. So when you enter this magnificent villa you know you are in for something special. I did a 5-night yoga and pamper retreat with a friend in December 2014. There were 3 other guests, so 5 in total, plus the host, mediation teacher and the hosts mum - a cozy little group of ladies. Although it was not a holiday option I would normally choose, I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who wanted to cocoon themselves away in a quiet spot, to spend some time on themselves, to relax, to feel pampered and to do it all in style. The staff are so good at their jobs that you do not even notice they are around until a jug of cold infused water appears beside you as you laze by the pool. The food was delicious. I think it would be a real struggle to do the juice cleanse when you see the fresh, ample and innovative meals. Yoga and meditation classes were well delivered, catered to all levels and having a small group meant everyone was able to get 1 on 1 attention. Good balance of scheduled activities and free time (everything is optional anyway and definitely no pressure to join in if you do not want to.) The pampering options were ample. I had a couple of massages and a body or face treatment. I really enjoyed being able to have a massage and then walk a few meters back to my room in a bath robe. I had a few different women doing the treatments who I would rate as pretty good to excellent. This is definitely a place you can visit by yourself. I went with a friend but the other guests all came alone. There will be people to socialize with if you want to or no pressure if you want to spend time by yourself in a quiet nook. The villa is situated a good distance from the tourist hub-bub of Bali and not near a beach which could be a downside for some. But it is easy enough to get a driver to take you out for the day. There are also day trips organized as part of the itinerary. So massages, a large comfy bed, someone cooking your meals and bringing you infused water, a little bit of movement, a little bit of reflection, all in the lap of luxury. All makes for a great package."

" We had 5 days at Villa Malaathina and had the most relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating time at the retreat. I arrived very tired and stressed and left totally relaxed and ready to take on the busy world again. The yoga and meditation each morning was a superb way to start the day and the food at each meal never disappointed. It was fresh, tasty and filling. You could tell such care was put into the ingredients and their preparation. The retreat was not over crowded and there was so much space for everyone. You could sit at the pool alone at times or have a massage in your room. There was never pressure to participate in the workshops if you were not up to it at the time. I recommend Amanda and her team for everything they have created. I truly hope that we will be back."

"What a fantastic 5 days I have just had at the Seventh Seal Retreat. The accommodation is amazing, everything is top quality and so luxurious. It made me feel like royalty. The retreat itself is so relaxing and calming. I am not used to meditation or yoga but I enjoyed both immensely and will be carrying on now that I am back home. The food is exceptional, I never thought that gluten free and dairy free could be so delicious. I never felt hungry at all. I really cannot put into words how amazing this place is. I met some fantastic people, both guests and staff, and have come home with some friends I never had. I will definitely take what I have learned and incorporate as much as possible into my new healthier lifestyle. Thank you so much Amanda, you have changed my life."

"Everything about this place is amazing. The personal attention received from arrival to departure was given by Amanda, the owner, and Lisa, the wonderful yoga teacher, and all of the caring and hospitable staff. I was even surprised with a homemade birthday cake to celebrate my birthday during my stay. We were delighted with our luxurious large beautifully decorated room which overlooked the pool. The organic, delicious and creative cuisine was another highlight of our 5 day wellness retreat. The grounds were beautifully maintained and there were lots of little hidden retreats around the complex for relaxation and solitude. The yoga teacher was excellent teaching yoga and meditation daily except for Wednesday which was the day trip to Ubud for sightseeing and shopping. The gym faclities were also great. The excellent massage and facial were just the icing on the cake. I left this place feeling totally relaxed and de-stressed. The Seventh Seal Retreat certainly exceeded my expectations!"
