Old Lan Farmhouse

Old Lan Farmhouse was rebuilt in 2004, retaining many of its original features. The internal woodwork is all oak, including the large staircase and the internal doors. Many of the original oak beams from the farmhouse have been incorporated into the property for that traditional feel.

There are exposed stone walls, log-burning stoves, Victorian-style cast iron radiators, and all the traditional features of a period farmhouse, but with modern quality and design for comfort and style.

The ground floor layout is light and airy, with spacious rooms and an opulent yet welcoming reception hallway leading to the beamed gallery landing. There are a sumptuous lounge with a log-burning stove and oak flooring, as well as a beautiful wet room and toilet, off the main hallway.

Equipped and furnished to an extremely high standard, there is everything you will need to enjoy your stay.

Write the pages of your own perfect retreat and escape the rhythm of everyday life. This hidden retreat enjoys far-reaching views, setting it as a fabulous location to stay up late and make the most of the low light pollution.

You don’t need to be an astronomer to stargaze in wonder at the glorious dark skies of Pembrokeshire. It's also possible to see the Milky Way with the naked eye from there. So, wrap up warmly or simply enjoy the magic of gazing up from a bubbling hot tub!

  • Luna - a single room situated in the main farmhouse with a shared bathroom
  • Nova - a double room with one king-size bed and shared bathroom for a maximum of two people
  • Phoenix - a double ensuite with a shower room and one king-size bed situated in the main farmhouse for a maximum of two people
  • Electra - a large ensuite with a shower room and one king-size bed situated in the main farmhouse for a maximum of two people

The annexe

This is a self-contained studio opposite the main farmhouse, with one king-size bed for a maximum of two people. It is situated across the main farmhouse, surrounded by rustling trees and enjoying an elevated position.

The annexe takes up space at the top of the beautiful stone outbuilding. A private side door gives the guest access up a flight of stairs, to a perfect cosy escape and hideaway.

The Retreat Old Lan Farmhouse's women's retreat practitioners are experts at removing the mental and emotional blocks that have kept you stuck in negative patterns, helping you to raise your vibration and regain the balance that you are seeking.

Gentle Hatha yoga

Emma will provide instruction of yoga techniques that you can take home and incorporate into your daily routine for better physical, spiritual, and emotional health.

Meditation and relaxation

The breath is one's most direct connection to life. Various breathing techniques can be used for relaxation, meditation, healing, or to tap into the subconscious mind. This session will teach you how breathing can clear the mind, de-stress the body, and reprogram yourself to "let it go."

Healing through movement I

At Old Lan Farmhouse, they strongly believe that movement is essential to your overall wellbeing. This session uses a combination of techniques and posture work taken from Hatha yoga concepts and blended with gentle stretching routines to enhance movement and flexibility. It is highly recommended for all of the clients to engage in some type of physical activity every day, either on their own or as part of their retreat.

Creating your vision

During this workshop, you will be provided with inspiration and the tools to create your own vision for the future.

One-on-one nutrition consultations

You are what you eat! This session involves an in-depth exploration of your current dietary habits, lifestyle, and goals, allowing you to set your goals and intentions for the weekend. You will also receive tips and recipes for use when you return home.

Healing through movement II

During this session, you will develop moves and postures acquired in the morning session, with an emphasis on strengthening the core and looking at ways to challenge your flexibility and endurance. This is very much a personalized experience where you can work towards your own goals, at your own pace, and within your own comfort zone.

Color therapy workshop

Isn't it time to realize your full potential? Their professional life coach and color therapist can show you how to define and achieve your dreams by discovering resources and creativity you never knew you had! This session will help you define your life and establish realistic goals through the medium of color.

Living your best life

A holistic approach to life keeps you balanced and whole. This session focuses on the health of the spiritual, emotional, and physical body. During this session, you will have the opportunity to explore your daily habits of mind and health, identifying rituals and routines that support balance and harmony.

Healing through movement III

During the follow-up session, the instructors will help you practice the personalized program that was created for you and make additional recommendations to allow you to return home with your own toolkit to continue your personal development.

Stress management workshop

Are you ready to become the master of your life? This retreat session will teach you a powerful set of techniques to break through old patterns and belief systems, alleviate stress, and stay centered. The session includes tools that you can incorporate into your daily life to help break through anxiety and depressive states of mind. Once you have gained the tools you need to avoid the damaging patterns of the mind, you will feel renewed and more alive!

Setting healthy boundaries

Empower yourself to create your own future when you learn to release patterns of the past! The session is designed to help you learn skills that will allow you to find a more peaceful and harmonious way of being by setting healthy boundaries and remembering your priorities. Setting appropriate boundaries is one of the most essential skills for stress management and addressing mental health.

Disconnect to reconnect

The Retreat Old Lan Farmhouse does not offer pick-up but the airport is just a one and a half-hour drive, so it may be convenient to hire a car for the duration of your stay as this will also give you the flexibility to explore the local area.
