Come and join our next women's retreat at this gorgeous location set in the beautiful grounds of a small estate within the stunning Kent countryside. We will have three days of yoga, breath work, meditation, mantra, sound healing, and relaxation focused on bringing inner harmony and balance, with an experienced teacher and women's wellness mentor. Learn about your innate women's wisdom, moon cycle wisdom and how we relate to the seasons, and empowered communication tools to create better more fulfilling relationships in your life. In our classes there are no levels, everyone does what they can and that is all, which means it is open to everyone of all abilities, and the teachings are for women in all stages of womanhood. You will also get plenty of free time to enjoy the gardens, walks in the countryside and for those that feel very energetic there is the tennis court! Or enjoy unwinding in the outside hot tub, reading on the comfy sofa's in front of the log fire, or chat with new friends and other like-minded women. The food, snacks, and drinks are lovingly prepared and planned with creating balanced nutritious meals to inspire delight and nourish you, by our specialist retreat chefs. Guests can help themselves to teas and filtered water during the weekend, with fruit snacks available. This is deep sacred women's work, for healing, rejuvenation, and embracing and embodying more of the real true inner you. You are welcomed exactly as you are, you do not need to be more of this or less of that, you are welcomed with open arms into this special time of sisterhood just as you are now.

During this retreat, you will be staying at The Quiaves. It is a small luxury estate nestled within 19-acre of manicured gardens and the peaceful Kent countryside, rivers, streams, and idyllic villages abound.

The accommodation provides towels, bedding, yoga equipment, and blankets. All main meals and snacks are provided, it is all vegetarian. There is a self-help bar for water and teas in the communal diner and lounge, along with a selection of teas, oat, rice, almond, and dairy milk is available.

Day 1, Friday:

  • 18:30 Saloon: Dinner
  • 20:00 Starlight hot tub time or massages (weather dependent)/ outdoor log fire women's circle

Day 2, Saturday:

  • 08:30 Studio: Morning Kundalini yoga practice, and gong relaxation
  • 10:00 Saloon: Breakfast
  • 10:45 Studio: Women’s circle time, teachings and women's mindful movement practices

The Quaives is situated 15 minutes from Canterbury and nestled between two idyllic Kent villages: Ickham and Wickhambreaux with stunning countryside, rivers, and streams all around. The Quaives is in easy reach of London: by car from east London takes 70 minutes, train 70 minutes from Saint Pancreas to Canterbury West and a 15-minute taxi (which The Quaives can help organize for 15 GBP and they can help organize cab share as well).

How to get there

Driving directions

  • Take M2 then A2
  • Carry on past the sign for Canterbury and take the exit for Bridge, it's quicker.
  • At the junction take the left for Patrixbourne, it will take you through Bekesbourne and past Howlets Safari Park
  • Carry on until the end of the road, where you will meet Wingham Road, take a left and an immediate right on to Nargate Street
  • Continue down Nargate street until you find yourself in Wickhambreaux
  • Go around the village green past the Rose Inn pub and take the turning straight ahead on to The Street and you will see a small village school ahead
  • Take the next right onto Seaton Road
  • Carry on until you see a children's playground on your left, and the retreat entrance is right next door with two iron gates, just buzz the buzzer and you will be allowed in.

Arrival by train

There is the fast train from St Pancreas which takes 70 minutes or from Stratford which takes 49 minutes to Canterbury West, make sure you get a return ticket it is much cheaper than buying singles.

Arrival by taxi

The Quaives can help organize a taxi with the local firm to give you a 15-minute lift, or there are plenty of taxis always waiting at the station, rides cost 15 GBP.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
