This is a retreat for yoga, fitness, wellness, and creativity where you will roll out your yoga mat and blow away the cobwebs. Get out on the ocean, be inspired, and dream big! The Pineapple House believes in simplicity, in wholesome living, in balance. The Pineapple House is not a full service yoga retreat or a cheap surf camp, they are quite small and personal but perfectly formed. People stay at The Pineapple House because they want a chilled, but supported private villa hideaway that includes a generous helping of exercise, relaxation, and fun. Do as much as you want or nothing at all at The Pineapple House and they can ensure you will find your perfect combination.
The Pineapple House is split over two traditional boutique villas, one three-bedroom, and one two-bedroom (all en-suite) villa. This luxury three-bedroom (all en-suite) villa was originally an antique wooden joglo from Java which was transported to Canggu in Bali and was rebuilt to specification. The building and interior design was completed in August 2013. With a large doorway between the two villas, there will be lots of space for you to hang out and relax in the two large living areas.
There are also plenty of bean bags and sofas to sit, read, watch movie, or catch up with your fellow guests on the days' activities. The kitchen and dining areas are fully equipped and ready for expert and novice chefs alike. The villas were designed specifically for laid back fun. The Pineapple House also has super-fast Wi-Fi throughout. The villas can be opened up to make one large space with five bedrooms or used as two separate villa, depending on guest requirements.
The guest accommodation consists of five private bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, hot water, fans, and air conditioning. Two of the downstairs bedrooms have four-poster king-sized beds and a single bed along with a walk-in wardrobe, the remaining two downstairs rooms have dour-poster double beds, walk in wardrobe, and outdoor bathroom including a large bathtub.
The upstairs bedroom is a double and comes complete with its own "Romeo and Juliet" balcony overlooking the working rice paddies. There are two refreshing swimming pools with decking area for your ultimate relaxation when not in the surf or in a yoga session, and not forgetting the “nap shack”, a comfy poolside gazebo that beckons you for an afternoon snooze.
In this retreat, you will have a mixture of private one-on-one yoga and fitness sessions and group classes led by world-class instructors, alongside hours of nourishing spa and body treatments and a day trip of your choice to either Ubud or Uluwatu. The group classes are held at Desa Seni, the amazing yoga resort, while the privates will be held at The Pineapple House. The Pineapple House is surfers and yogis who are inspired to live by these principles. They were born from this passion.
There is schedule for the activities. However, The Pineapple House does keep the scheduling to a minimum. The schedule is constructed so that most of the activities are done in the mornings, leaving you with the afternoons at your leisure, whether to chill out by the pool, write that book that you've been telling yourself you will do, see other parts of the island, or simply sleep. There are yoga classes on offer throughout the days so if you want to do yoga in the afternoon, that's totally fine also.
During this retreat, you will experience one-day trip of your choice to either Ubud or Uluwatu.
