The staff make everything so easy for guests, which is why everyone finds it so difficult to leave! A hostel with such a relaxing atmosphere, plenty of places to chill out in the sun and evenings gathered around a fire or playing card games. The surf lessons were fantastic, attention placed on making sure they found the best spots for beginners, good equipment and wetsuit hire (my wetsuit was brand new!). The yoga offered was a nice way to wake up in the mornings and stretch out those surf muscles. Now let's talk about the food, WOW, delicious and plentiful breakfasts and a Moroccan feast every night for dinner - I would say I'd come back just based on the food alone, but there are so many reasons to come back. I can't describe how great the atmosphere at Lunar is and a large part of that is down to the effort put in by those running the place - they really make you feel at home.

The retreat was wonderful- the staff were kind and energetic. The paradise valley trip, surf lessons, yoga, food, the hammam and massage visit, the other really cool guests, the cleanliness of the space- everything was great and well thought out.

Amazing hostel full of beautiful people...a 'home' away from home! Beautiful meals, open fires, great vibe. Things weren't quite what I expected...I went for a bit of yoga and culture...I ended up extending my stay for three days and sleeping under the stars in the Sahara! Beyond my wildest expectations! My heart is full!

If you're considering to it! You will not regret your choice!

"Zero drama dreamy hippie paradise for adventurous holiday"

We booked this package as a December sunshine getaway and didn't have to worry about anything. Everything is included and perfectly organised from airport transfers, all the food, surf lessons and free board and wetsuit hire, one yoga class a day (you can pay for an additional evening class) and even a trip to Paradise Valley and a 2hour hamam visit with a massage is included. This place is run by the nicest uplifting people on earth and has the biggest and most exciting breakfasts and dinners ever seen, they greatly accommodate for vegans and even bought me some rice milk for coffee. The whole house is decorated really colourfully and beautiful with love and attention to the detail and feels really cosy and homely. Not everyone in this hostel is doing a yoga and surf package since you can also custom book every class and activity seperately. The hostel is a really social place and you'll be staying with surfers and travellers from all over the world and everyone gathers and socialises at the meals and evening rooftop fires.

"Brilliant week in Morocco "

The whole experience was great for a solo traveller, the atmosphere in the hostel is so friendly and I felt at home straight away! Being able to do yoga on the rooftop in the morning sunshine was so relaxing. The food was continuously amazing, even l better than I was expecting. And the surfing was so much fun! So all round I loved everything about my stay.

"The perfect sunny get-away"

I was made to feel at home straight away. The roof terrace(s) are beautiful with loads of space to curl up with a book, relax or get to know the other travelers. The vibe is very relaxed and the people who came to stay all had a similar outlook, here to surf, relax and experience what Morocco has to offer. Great mix of ages, backgrounds and nationalities which make the communal meals very engaging!

The surf lessons are designed more for beginners, which was perfect for me. It's great to be in a small group so you have time with the instructor but also time to practice on your own. Some of the other surf schools were massive, so not sure how you would learn anything!

The yoga was a brilliant way to start every day, 15 minutes meditation and then 45 minutes yoga as the sun comes over the horizon.

I've come back to London relaxed and refreshed (as well as a little tanned).

Thank you!

"Amazing week in Morocco"

Everything! The hostel is lovely, the relaxed atmosphere made me feel at home instantly & everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Irena has so much knowledge of the surrounding area & there's lots of activities you can book through the hostel such as an amazing hammam or paradise valley (a must!). The food is delicious - breakfast especially! The yoga was great & Karina, who was taking our practice, was so good at making sure we took it easy if we were sore from surfing & doing yoga over looking the beach in the morning was just perfect. Couldn't recommend this hostel/surf house enough - the perfect Moroccan vibe.

Thank you so much für this wonderful holiday. This place makes you feel like being at home and not in a hostel - right on the first day. Adil and his Team are great and really care about their guests.

"Super Paket. Tolles team.

The Lunar Surf House is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The hostel owners Adil and Irena are wonderful people who make you feel like home. We stayed there for a week but could have stayed forever. During our stay we went to Essaouira, Paradise Valley and to the desert - all organised by the hostel for a very fair price. The trips just have been amazing and we made some incredible memories. Surf lesson and Yoga classes are also very much recommended! If you want to meet great people, enjoy the most amazing roof top, be close to beach, get the best morrocan breakfast/dinner, discover an amazing country & culture - go there! I definitely want to go back one day. Thanks for everything Lunar Surf House!

We (me and my boyfriend) had an awesome time with Adil in Tamragh! We had a super beautiful double room and the hostel was clean and welcoming - Moroccan hospitality with an Australian touch. The guys really know what they do - from the surf spots to other activities to the food (ooh I gonna miss that food!!!)! The quality of the offer is way above the price. We also went to the paradise valley and to the desert - SO MUCH FUN!!! It's an unbelievable experience and it's not a tourist trap at all. In fact, if you want to avoid the tourist trap - go there! Tagazouh is waaaaay more touristy. We made good friends with the hostel stuff and hope to come back! We also invited them to come see us back home, you see where I am going :)

When you arrive in Tamracht, you might have expected more. But the people of and the people at the Lunar Surf Hostel immediately give you a warm welcome, which makes you feel at home straight away. The vibe is chill, people leave their doors open, the view is great, and the food might be the best in South Marrocco. Not only is it good, it's abundant, and everyone eats together at a big table. This really sets the vibe in the Hostel. You everyone instantly, trips are planned, surf spots are discussed and the tanjine is passed around. When I mentioned this was the best meal I had had in Marrocco, two people simultaneously said: "wait till you see their breakfast...." Nuff said. If you are looking for a nice tranquil spot for some easy times this is your spot. If you want some more livelihood, Tagazout is a 10 minute ride away. Enjoy.
