Noddfa is the name of the center run by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Mary. The Welsh word noddfa means refuge, a place of welcome and peace, a place where you can regain energy. Hopefully, all the groups who come here will experience the spirit of noddfa in the comfort of the house and the beauty of the surrounding hills and the sea.

The center is located on the North Wales coast in a village called Penmaenmawr. It welcomes groups and individuals from England, Scotland, and Ireland, as well as other parts of Wales. Single rooms are provided unless you require a double room. Bathrooms are separate and shared between two rooms. There are sinks in the bedrooms.

Many people wonder what their purpose in life is. Whether you already feel you are aware of your life purpose or have a yearning to discover it, you will find this weekend a relaxing and insightful one.

You will mainly practice two types of yoga. The first is Hatha yoga, an active yoga for strength and conditioning; it promotes an improved quality of subsequent meditation. The second one is yoga Nidra, which is known as yogic sleep, as it promotes relaxation and is a method used to manifest.

Day 1

Arrival is in the evening, after 17:00, just in time for dinner. You will have an introduction and overview of the weekend, followed by a session of yoga Nidra.

Day 2

On Saturday morning, before breakfast, you will have a Hatha yoga session. After breakfast, you will be exploring your dharma and life purpose. Different tools, which will help you delve deeper into this, such as mindfulness meditation and yoga Nidra, will be used.

There will also be some free time after lunch for you to enjoy the naturalistic environment of Noddfa. In the afternoon and evening, you will continue with discussions and meditations, in addition to an evening meditation walk.

Day 3

Before breakfast, you will begin the morning with a meditation and mindful walk. After breakfast, you will continue with Yin yoga and yoga Nidra, as well as discussions. Following lunch, you will continue with discussions and exercises before leaving Noddfa at around 14:30.

"Thank you for your hospitality and treatment, Jill. I just want to let you know I spoke with mum about railways; it turns out that my grandad worked on railways and my dad lived at a railway house for a time, so you were right with your picture link. Thanks again."
