Zoe Knott

Zoe is a Diploma Course Tutor (DCT) for the British Wheel of Yoga and is also their DCT training officer. She has over 30 years of yoga practice with many different teachers from a variety of traditions, which has resulted in having an eclectic style of teaching. Her fundamental approach is to build strength as the cornerstone of practice and from there, all poses become possible. Zoe has taken the additional British Wheel of Yoga modules in pranayama and pregnancy. She also runs regular yoga classes, courses, teacher training, and workshops.

Elisa de Grey

Encouraged by her mother who thought she needed to learn to relax, Elisa first dipped into yoga over 12 years ago. Elisa's dynamic Vinyasa classes are designed to stimulate self-inquiry and to challenge students’ perceptions of their capabilities. The classes are flowing, with an emphasis on technical precision and asana analysis. Balanced with this she creates plenty of space to explore pranayama and meditation. Re-learning to relax is an integral part of overall health, so Elisa always tries to incorporate some restorative yoga. Elisa will be teaching on December 28, 2016-January 4, 2017.

Kristi Rodelli

A certified Forrest yoga teacher, Kristi’s classes are strong, grounded, inspiring, and based on the four pillars of Forrest yoga: strength, breath, integrity, and spirit. She traveled to Hong Kong and China in 2003, where she explored more deeply the physical, emotional, and spiritual practice of yoga. Kristi teaches in yoga studios in London and Europe and assists Ana Forrest in trainings and workshops around the world. She believes in working hard but working mindfully and offers modifications for different levels and injuries, sharing compassionate hands-on assistance.

Natasha Kerry

Natasha felt the need to re-evaluate her career path and undertook her initial 250hrs of teacher training in India at the Yoga Vidya Gurukul ashram. She was completely immersed in the yogic way of life, living in the ashram and educated by Rishis initiated by The Bihar School of Yoga. Natasha has made huge lifestyle changes & has immensely enjoyed continuing her Yoga studies alongside her teaching. She completed a 200hrs Vinyasa Power Yoga TTC in London, & the 80hrs Triyoga Tapasya TTC as well as intensive short courses in Ashtanga with John Scott & Restorative Yoga Therapeutics with Bo Forbes

Laura Gate Eastley

Exhausted from her music industry career in the late nineties, Laura found yoga, and there was no going back! The teacher training in 2003-2005 with Brian Cooper and Nawajoti of Union Yoga gave her a really strong grounding in her dynamic teaching style, and she is forever grateful for their firm, nurturing and patient energy. At this time she was practising Ashtanga and assisting the daily Mysore class at Triyoga. She has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. Laura's yoga style is inyasa flow but she includes moments of yin or restorative; there is always some pranayama and meditation

Andrea Kwiatkowski

(Jivamukti Yoga)

Andrea is known for her passionate, dynamic, and inspirational teaching that incorporates both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga from the lineage of her gurus Sharon Gannon and David Life. Her classes integrate deep Bhakti infused practices with the application of precise alignment and deep intention. Andrea completed her Hatha yoga training in 2001 and, in 2008, became the diploma course tutor for Cambridgeshire with the British Wheel of Yoga. In 2005, she completed the Jivamukti teacher training in New York.

Liz Lark

Liz has been teaching yoga since the 1990s, training first with the British Wheel of Yoga. Absorbed in the health and balance of the body and mind through alignment, gesture, breathing, sequencing, and relaxation, her inspiration comes from the series of Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition and other Hatha yoga practices, including yoga Nidra. Liz adapts yoga postures for each individual in order to chisel into their form and help to sculpt and free each unique body.

Diana Holland

Diana is a fun, enthusiastic teacher with more than 30 years of teaching experience in yoga, Pilates, and dance. She first studied Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga with John Scott. Amazed at how balanced she felt mentally, physically, and spiritual after each class, she knew her next training would be to become a yoga teacher. Diana went on to qualify as an Iyengar yoga teacher in London after studying extensively with renowned senior Iyengar teacher, Maxine Tobias. Diana now teaches a more rhythmic style of Hatha yoga and is an experienced physical therapist and hypnotherapist.

Lucy McCarthy

Lucy McCarthy’s yoga journey began many years ago on a rooftop in India. She fell immediately in love with this beautiful ancient practice and has never looked back. She has trained under the guidance of many wonderful teachers, most notably Max Strom, Ana Forrest, and Clive Sheridan. Lucy teaches mindful breath and alignment based Vinyasa Flow. Passionate about the physical, spiritual, and emotional benefits of yoga, her classes encourage being open to whatever is in your heart and mind when you arrive at the mat.

Joanna's love of dynamic, flowing sequences led her to pursue the Ashtanga yoga teacher training, which she completed in 2004 with Brian Cooper and Nawajyoti at Union Yoga in Edinburgh and Shanti Griha in Scoraig, Scotland. She continues to deepen her yoga practice and draws inspiration from workshops and intensives with a wide range of well-known yogis. She holds a 300-hour certification in Prana Flow Energetic Vinyasa yoga with Shiva Rea and has also completed the intensive Yogabeats teacher training with David Sye.

Mischa Varmuza

Mischa is a passionate and knowledgeable teacher who is continually humbled and inspired by the potential of yoga to transform, expand and heal. Her intention is to both challenge and restore, holding a space for individuals to open, reflect and absorb. Her practice and teaching is inspired by over a decade of study under many masterful teachers. Mischa's greatest influence is Sianna Sherman with whom she is in apprenticeship with and assists on workshops and training globally. Mischa regularly visits and has spent over a year in India studying sacred sites.

Joanne King

Joanne teaches mindful, breath-led movement, inspired by many great teachers along the way. Over the course of twelve years, her yoga practice has grown towards a keen interest in the energetic effects of postures and breath work, the grace and flow of Vinyasa sequencing, and the contemplative practises of meditation. She has a passion for teaching yoga to all levels from beginner to advanced, and credits her students for teaching her as much as she has them!

Mira Khreino

Mira is an experienced yoga teacher. Her energetic and invigorating style transitions breath-led alignment-based asanas seamlessly in creative sequences. Lara Stapleton

Lara has been practicing yoga for 17 years and teaching for 14 years. She was originally trained by the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Canada and has since gone on to train with Erich Schiffmann (Los Angeles, USA), The Krishnamacharya Mandiram (Chennai, India) specialising in therapeutic yoga, Tias Little (Santa Fe, New Mexico) and John Stirk who is both her teacher and mentor. With a classification in Hatha Yoga combined with the inner softness and grace of Scaravelli Yoga, she has developed a flowing, deeply grounding, and nurturing style.

    For sure the teacher and the yoga accessories were amazing!

    The food is made by the family who owns the hotel, so is not healthy as expected for a yoga retreat. I think next time they should put a professional healthy cooker

      I think what sums up my Healthy Holiday Company experience is getting a text from the managing director, Kathryn, on the morning of the day we flew, which was a Saturday, because our flights had changed and we had not noticed, and, then, being personally available on the phone that night, at dinner-time, because there was a small mix-up with our airport collection. Of course, there is the small matter of a beautiful hotel with a staff who really cared and seemed to like you, yoga with the sound of crashing waves, lots of comfortable places to hang out, and beautiful views. We went for two days to Paradis Plage and I was really quite grumpy about coming home!

      Having just returned from five days at Epic Sana, I wanted to thank you for organizing it all, as it worked brilliantly. I thought the hotel was great, the rooms were ideal (definitely worth the upgrade for not facing the back), and the yoga and pilates teachers were first-class, as was the spa. I thought the setting was excellent and I really enjoyed huge walks on the extensive beach. I ended up traveling solo and it was absolutely fine, I felt a very safe and happy environment.

      I am back from Epic Sana and wanted to feedback that it was brilliant for what I wanted. The hotel was fabulous and I loved the room and, while it was very quiet, that did not matter as a busy bar and restaurant was not what I was after for this trip. I was after the health and fitness and the classes were absolutely brilliant, as was the physical training. In fact, I think, they were exceptional and I am very fussy. Plus, the beach was the best I have been to in Europe for running.
