This retreat is a commitment to take the time and space to be in uninterrupted silence for a week of your life. Caroline Ward and the team of compassionate listeners and mentors who have many years of experience using silence as a tool for inner growth will hold your hand through this life-changing, weeklong event.
There is pretty much the same timeline daily. The rest of the day will be private time and homework for participants to work through in silence and time for themselves to walk or swim or relax, all in silence. She is a 30-year practitioner of Raja Yoga Meditation and the author of two books, "The Four Faces of Woman" and "My Courage, Your Courage," focusing on the transformational power of the feminine archetype.
Helen Blaaker is the Co-Owner and CEO of The Easy Yogi, an Ayurveda Consulting Practice, and mindfulCITY, an online resource for all things mindful.The Easy Yogi offers consultations in Ayurveda and complimentary practices; unique personal blends of herbal teas, oils and capsules, educational programs & workshops in Ayurveda, meditation, and movement. Helen is a Raja Yoga Meditation Practitioner of nearly 30 years with 20 years of teaching practical meditation and dharma through lectures, workshops and television programs.
Cynthia blends spirituality, philosophy, and the sciences to help facilitate quantum healing and conscious living. She's trained in Reiki and other intersectional energy work modalities, and is a certified master life coach. She owns The Gaia Revolution, Light Rising Publishing, and StoryTime Me; which offer unique publishing solutions to produce content that facilitates empowered personal storytelling, meaning-making, and wisdom sharing to ultimately expand consciousness and connectedness, and inspire kinder living.
Aarti Pappu is a Physician Assistant in Albany, NY. She believes that the key to 'getting better' is not to just diagnose and cure but to heal. Same goes for the soul. Aarti has been a practitioner and facilitator of Raja Yoga meditation for over 30 years and has seen the transformation of many with the combination of knowledge, meditation and implementation in every day life. And so she believes in the healing power of silent, honest and real reflection of the self, in a comforting environment.
Toni Horsley started her career in bodywork as a Remedial Massage Therapist and has maintained a successful private practice in Sydney for over two decades. She also has vast experience in Sydney's major hospitals as a Massage Therapist. Toni has a passion for bodywork and over the years has continually evolved and upgraded her skills to include Lymphatic Drainage, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Bowen Technique, Energetic Rebalancing and Healing, Positional Release, Sport Massage and Stretching. Toni has a reputation for being a sensitive, talented, effective and professional therapist.
Julianne has consciously travelled the journey of self-understanding in parallel to her many roles of mother, daughter, wife, friend and television producer/executive in Australia. After she participated in the Healing Journey of Silence, Julianne has chosen to follow her heart completely. It was then that she began her transition to living in harmony with herself and the land, learning how to grow things.
Yolanda Beckers is the Director of the Innerlight and Health and Wellness Sanctuary in Naples, Florida. She has been on the spiritual path for over 30 years. Yolanda has studied naturopathy, ananda yoga, and spring forest Qi Gong. She is a teacher of the Spiritual University of the Brahma Kumaris. Yolanda was taught healing sound techniques by Tibetan monks. She has also taught courses in holistic conflict resolution at Nova University. Yolanda has been giving seminars on body, mind and spirit in different parts of the world. Her true love is to share wisdom and “light” with others.
Vandana Sareen was intrigued by and introduced to yoga off the mat as a spiritual practice. Embracing the understanding and experiencing that we are spiritual beings having a human existence yoga is a way of life for her. She was pulled to the mat to shed the physical stiffness and fatigue from a desk job. She practices and uses meditation and hatha yoga to loosen up, have fun, and step into the lightness of being. Her style is gentle yet invigorating focussed on basic breathing, movement, and yoga asanas to lubricate the body and mind.
