Day 1: Touchdown at Marrakech-Menara Airport

Your adventure begins from when you step from the plane into the heat of the moment. First stop is your beautiful Riad, right in the heart of Medina. Settle in, take in the view, and prepare yourself for the adventure of Marrakech. Everything mysterious and exotic is here, and it gets a whole lot better now that you have arrived on the scene. Take in the souks, gardens, and sights, then soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the citys eternal spirit with drinks at the chic Marrakech Sky Bar before dinner.

Accommodation: Riad Adore or similar

Activity included: Evening Marrakech Medina tour

Day 2: Marrakech trail ride to Taghazout

You have walked the walk and talked the talk in Marrakech - and now it is time to make with the overland ranger wheels as you clamber into your 4x4, say hello to your driver, and blaze a trail towards Agadir and the funky surf stop of Taghazout. This is one friendly place, the ultimate laid back village. It has cafes and pretty beaches, and made its name thanks to all the surfing schools. Home for the night is an authentic mountain retreat, just minutes from the beach. What could be better?

Accommodation: Mountain Riad or similar

Meals included: Breakfast, dinner

Day 3: Taghazout

Today starts with an ultra-cool option - yoga or surf. Actually, why choose when you can sample both exhilarating lessons and learn a few secrets from the experts. When you are fully surfed and pumped up with yoga, it is time for dessert, and what better way to savor the flavor of Taghazout than to hang out on the beach? Remember all those beaches from way back? The ones where you could not see the sand for all the tourists dripping ice cream over their crumpled swimwear? Right now, you get to wipe that image from the horizon all the way until it is time to chill out with drinks overlooking the ocean.

Accommodation: Mountain Riad or similar

Meals included: Breakfast, dinner

Activities included: Surf lesson, yoga lesson

Day 4: Tagzahout to Tafraoute

Time to head south, past Agadir, and romp on to the wild and natural beaches of Mirleft. This is the less discovered Morocco, and it will ping your eyes wide open with its beauty. Your 4x4 trip delivers you to Legzira beach and its famous rock formations. This stunning scenery has hung on for countless centuries waiting for you to show up with your camera. From here, you drop right into the epicenter of Berber life and experience more authentic Morocco.

Tucked between red and rocky hills and azure skies, Tafraoute is an out-of-the-way oasis of culture not to be missed. From arts and crafts to enchanting music, this place has everything. Even the peak rising high above the village resembles a whirl of icing on a cake. This is traditional Berber culture central, and with a population of under 5000, it is a friendly place to lay down your hat for the night.

Accommodation: Chez Amaliya or similar

Meals included: Breakfast, dinner

Activities included: Coastal drive to Mirleft and Legzira beach

Day 5: Imlil

If you know your Greek myths and legends, you will be familiar with Atlas. He was the Titan who held up the world on his shoulder. Any mountain range named after that guy has to be something special. On this day, you are taking the mountain roads high into Atlas territory where you can hang out with panoramas few people get to see this close up. From the stunning Toubkal National Park to the small Berber village of Imlil, this is Morocco with a capital O - especially if youre brave enough to look down. Home up here for the night is a traditional guesthouse run by Berber staff. They will serve you a sumptuous feast in the colorful dining room of their unique place in the sky.

Accommodation: Douar Samra or similar

Meals included: Breakfast, dinner

Day 6: Imlil

According to the song, New York was so good they named it twice. Imlil is so good as you get two nights and two choices. No way are you hanging out way up here without a sightseeing hike, and today you get to pick from easy or difficult. Whatever you choose, you will have a full days romp in the company of an experienced guide while breathing the pure air of the Atlas Mountains. With a picnic lunch in your knapsack, and nothing but pure spectacle everywhere you look, this will be a day to remember. Come evening, the guesthouse will be just where you left it, and a delicious meal awaits you there.

Accommodation: Douar Samra or similar

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Activities included: Atlas Mountain hike (choice of easy or difficult), including picnic lunch

Day 7: Imlil to Marrakech

Today you get to rest your legs for a while as your driver takes you back to Marrakech. Savor the view, have a chat or two, and as you gaze fondly back to where you have been, give yourself a pat on the back for making it so far up that rocky wilderness. The rest and relaxation theme continues upon arrival in Marrakech with a traditional hammam and massage. It is the perfect way to wind down after a week of adventure, and when you are suitably calmed and soothed, it is time for dinner on the terrace of your Riad.

Accommodation: Riad Adore or similar

Meals included: Breakfast

Activities included: Evening Marrakech hammam massage

Day 8: Head on to the airport

You have notched up the adventure of a lifetime, and now it is time to fly that spirit home. As you spiral away into the skies, no way is Morocco going to shrink before your eyes like other places you have been to. This place has a funny way of living on in the memory, long after you head back home, and you will have a huge chunk of captivating exhilaration to take back to wherever you are bound.

The price includes excursions from Marrakech to Taghazout, Tafraoute, Imlil and back again to Marrakech.

The Kingdom of Morocco is a distinctly Middle Eastern flavored country in North Africa populated by a rich and colorful blend of Arab, Berber, African, and European cultures. In a time long before electric scooters and jumbo jets, Morocco was an important trading stop for merchants traveling to Timbuktu.

Even though modern passenger planes and traffic jams have all but replaced visions of ancient camel caravans rolling in from the Sahara, this mountainous stretch of red desert features everything a modern traveler may desire, including exotic flavors, moody camels, and clever hagglers, not to mention steamy Turkish spas.

"Service was great. Really friendly and helpful. There were a couple of hiccups with my details but everything got sorted straight away. My first group Tour experience to Morocco was awesome. I was a bit apprehensive to join a group tour as I thought it would be over organised and regimental but there was a perfect balance of activities and free time. The surfing was great fun. It was a real pleasure hanging out with my pack and I've made a few good friends. I'll definitely be booking my next adventure holiday with The Flash Pack."

"The Flash Pack team were always attentive and answered any questions I had really quickly. Really happy with the service. I had such a brilliant time in Morocco. All the hotels were lovely, activities were really fun, everything was well organised and my group were great. We were all pretty much solo travellers and on the same page. We had a great time together. I have no hesitation in recommending The Flash Pack or the Morocco trip. Can't wait to book my next adventure with you!"

"The Flash Pack made the whole experience easy, fun and exciting. From my first email to them asking what I could expect from the trip and what I needed to take with me, to planning the finer details once I'd booked, through to the trip guide dropping me off at the airport for my flight home, the Pack couldn't do enough to help me and everyone I spoke to was great. This was the first Moroccan tour the Flash Pack had organised and so there were some teething problems at the beginning of the holiday (very minor though). Nevertheless, it just took one email to the customer service rep and less than 24 hours later the rest of the holiday had been pulled back on track and it was an amazing experience. This tour gives you an experience of all the different sides of Morocco - the busy city and market souks, the beach towns and surfing schools and the mountain villages. The accommodation is luxurious, but off the beaten track so you don't feel like you're just following the crowds...for example, our guest house, carved into the mountains, was lit by candlelight only in most rooms...but don't worry, it still had WiFi!"

"What could represent better customer service than flying in the owner of the Flash Pack to Morocco, just to make sure we had the best possible experience? But before I get to that, let me start at the beginning. Being Canadian, I had a few trepidations about booking a trip with a fairly new and small travel company run out of England. Were they reliable and would the experience be as promised? I wasnt sure, but none-the-less I was drawn in by their keen understanding of what I was looking for in an adventure vacation. Their values and experience aligned perfectly with my own, so a couple of emails and A LOT of questions patiently answered by their staff, I was reassured that booking with the Flash Pack was the right choice. From their willingness to spend time with me, to their enthusiasm and passion, I knew Id found a travel company whos staff lived and believed in the experience they were selling.A month later my plane landed in Marrakech and I was more than thrilled to be in this amazing country. This was the first tour the Flash Pack had run out of Morocco, and so we undoubtedly experienced a few hiccups in the first couple of days. One email and a quick phone call with the Flash Pack headquarters and they had Lee on a plane the next day. Our personal concierge, photographer and guide, Lee made sure our trip was the best possible experience and went above and beyond what was promised. Our group is now part of the Flash Pack family and we will no doubt be seeing their team again soon on our next adventure.Bright colours, exotic scents and an unforgettable cultural experience. Traveling to Morocco with the Flash Pack is so much more than just seeing a foreign land, its experiencing the country in a more genuine way. From gorgeous golden shores, to hiking side-by-side with locals in the lush mountains, to the hustle and bustle of the historic medina, this trip is balanced perfectly with the opportunity to see Morocco beyond the deserts and camels. The accommodations varied from amazingly beautiful riads in the city to ocean front villas and more traditional lodging in the mountains each beautiful, but authentic. The trip the Flash Pack planned allowed us flexibility to explore on our own while guiding us through some of the most gorgeous and unique scenery. Everything promised in the description was accurate and honest, even the goats in trees! I would recommend to anyone looking for a one of a kind experience, off the beaten path, to travel with the Flash Pack."

"The service was great. I loved the attention to detail. Hannah was really good at answering my many questions and concerns. Loved the whole experience. The hotels were so lovely particular the riads. The trip was very slick, well run and we went off the beaten path too. The surfing was my favourite activity and not as hard as you think! My group of flashpackers were all really fun - will be booking another trip soon!"
