The service here is amazing. You won't be disappointed. However, be prepared to use that credit card. It's not a cheap place to visit. The winter is a great time to visit to see the ice sculptures.

Somehow we lucked out and got a Lakefront view - the word 'spectacular' just doesn't explain it well enough. A beautiful hotel with beautiful amenities on the lake. You can take a lovely path around the lake or take advantage of the amenities inside.

We spent a couple of days here in late december 2015. Were treated to an upgrade to a lake facing room and the staff were wonderful. We had a great time. The scenery of course was spectacular. And the post christmas atmosphere was magical. We could not get enough of the fluffy snow.

The entire trip was memorable. We go there for skiing and really recommend it. Facing the beautiful Lake Louise, the view is impeccable. And you can eat breakfast facing the lake. There is also an amazing glacier. The service is one of a kind. I highly recommend it!

I'd rate this hotel and its facilities and staff as one of the best experiences. We were there in January, it was busy but coped easily. Rooms great , location magnificent and staff exceptional. We had two rooms on level 3, views were great but many rooms had better views. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is one of the more beautiful places I've visited. Unfortunately, in my opinion it is totally ruined by HUNDREDS of tourists that are brought by bus from Vancouver who are NOT staying at this hotel! I was astounded as I entered the grand lobby, only to see youngsters throwing footballs and running around with little or no parental supervision. These non hotel guests are also occupying all of the sitting areas inside as well as their children are (no exaggeration) lying down on the floor in the hotel main areas. I immediately met with the manager and asked about the problem of these apparent NON paying people running around. He said "Canadian Government says this is a public site". I commented "what about me ?? I am paying $750 a night USD". He said "he was very sorry and understood". I personally would NEVER go back there. Visualize Main Street Disneyland has invaded Chateau Lake Louise and then decide if you want to spend your money there.

Was our first time staying at this hotel. It was a winter wonderland. Friendly staff from the moment we walked in. Excellent atmosphere, positive people and a truly breathtaking geography. The ice castle on the lake is unique and the sleigh ride for two to the waterfall is nice. Our room had a beautiful view and very clean, bed was comfy. But the bathroom floor was rather chilly.

The hotel is a beautiful property situated in between mountains and a lake right at its own backyard. We arrived on New Year's Day (2016) and stayed for 9 days. The mountains were covered with snow just like you see in postcards. The lake was frozen and people were skating in there. We did a sleigh ride, some skiing and dog sledding. This was a very beautiful experience! Also lots of walking in the snow!!! It was freezing but worth the freeze!

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise anchors a stunningly beautiful panorama of mountains, frozen waterfalls and snowy paths. Our five-day stay was filled with snowshoe hiking, ice climbing, snowboarding and a sleigh ride (can't wait to do the dog sledding on our next trip!). The hotel itself is simple elegance. We found our room to be large and luxurious (we had a corner king-bed room facing the lake), with a well-appointed (if cozy) bath. The Walliser Stube (think swiss fondue) provided our favorite meal on property (although we found the Lakeview Lounge provided a fantastic lunch with a view). We highly recommend booking a dinner at the neighboring Deer Lodge as well. The service was the best we have ever experienced. Anywhere. Sarah and Sara provided remarkable concierge services, including booking all of our activities and dining reservations. Paul and Mike were outstanding guides for our night snowshoe trek and ice canyon hike. The Yamnuska Mountain Adventures ice climbing day was a highlight for our 19-year old son (the 50-somethings weren't in shape for that!). Ask for Darrin as your guide. If you are into photography, the on-site Banff Photography Shop can schedule a one-hour walk-about (I highly recommend Gary) to show you vistas you might not otherwise find and help you get your camera settings right to achieve amazing photos. Our week here truly was relaxing, invigorating and stress-busting. Enjoy!

This Hotel is a Paradise. Our room was in front from Lake Louise, Alberta! Each morning we wake up with a view of the lake. Amazing! In the morning is a little cold, even in August, but anyway, since breakfast was so delicious, by the time I was on the lake was past 1 pm. There were so many things to do in the town, that we didn't had a chance to take a boat ride. Definitely on our next visit.
