The Bhakti Center invites you to make a yoga pilgrimage to India. Whether you’re coming to experience the colorful culture or are on a spiritual quest, India has a way of reawakening your senses so that you can dive deeper into the meaning of life. It is a wild place with dust, noise, material inconveniences, and craziness around every corner. When you are able to go beyond the material chaos that sends some people packing, there is a legitimate opportunity for your soul’s eyes to open and your heart to blossom. Purify your body and mind through the lens of Bhakti, yoga, and adventure!
You will stay for 5 days in eco-friendly cob houses in the naturally charming village at Govardhan Eco Village, a place to demonstrate the principles of self-sufficiency and localized economy to the world. The rest of your days will be spent in Mumbai, Rishikesh, and Vindravan.
All rooms at Govardhan Eco Village have attached bathroom and hot water facility. This place boasts of world class facilities in complete harmony with nature and ecology.
Along with showcasing the best in eco-practices, Govardhan Eco Village will assure you of an ultimate escape from mundane to spiritual through eco-friendly cottages, Ayurvedic center, yoga studio, Vedic temple, and amenities center. A nursery and a herbal park adds to the symphony with nature by helping to restore and rejuvenate your primal energies with rare medicinal and forest herbs.
The residential facilities include private and communal cottages made from eco-friendly materials like earth and fiber to invoke a serene and peaceful ambiance. Govardhan Eco Village can be an ideal destination for board meetings and executive retreats and promises an impressive amenities building with seminar rooms and a conference hall with a majestic mountain view of Kohoj Fort to create inspiring venues for high-powered meetings.
You will fly into Mumbai and head straight to Govardhan Eco Village for the International Bhakti Yoga Festival. You will spend 5 days of diving into the essence of India’s yoga traditions with Radhanath Swami as well as other renowned teachers.
You will tour the facilities to see how a group of bhakti-yogis are making a difference towards a greener world. You will also practice daily yoga, hear from Radhanath Swami, choose from an array of life changing workshops, and swim in the inviting bio pool.
After 5 days there, you will head back to Mumbai for the Flower Festival. There will be thousands of colorful flower petals showering the deities and the entire temple room. You will hear wonderful discourses from Radhanath Swami at the beautifully carved sandstone Radha Gopinath Temple as well as experience real India through the moods of celebration with God in the center.
You will then head to Rishikesh. Here, you will practice yoga and meditation each morning and hike through the Himalayan foothills. It is really a time to relax, restore, and reconnect to nature in the pristine environment of mystical India.
You will spend your last few days in the most sacred of villages, Vrindavan. This village has over 5,000 temples celebrating the birthplace of Lord Krisna.
Vira was raised in the tradition of bhakti yoga. He has been traveling to India since he was a kid. Vira, who was trained by one of India’s greatest masters, is a renowned Ayurveda and Marma therapist.
Dhyana was raised in the tradition of Bhakti yoga. She has been traveling to India since she was a kid. Dhyana runs a yoga studio in New York City and offers teacher trainings, retreats, and immersions around the world.
This retreat will firstly take place at the Govardhan Eco Village in Maharashtra. This place is 70-acre sustainable farming community and retreat center on the foothills of the Sahyadhri Mountains, 108 kilometers north of Mumbai, India. It is also nestled in the lap of historical Kohoj Fort.
After staying for 5 days there, you will then go Mumbai. After spending your time in Mumbai, you will head to Rishikesh. It is a small town situated on the banks of the sacred Ganges River in the foothills of the Himalayas. And then, you will spend your last days in Vindravan.
You will be served 2-3 delicious love filled vegetarian meals each day. Your meals will consist of local dishes made from organic grains and vegetables grown on the land.
You can experience white water rafting on the Ganga in Rishikesh.
You will have the opportunity to receive Ayurvedic treatments at an extra cost.
