You are given the option to choose from various accommodations: a bed in a dormitory room at Tree House Resort and Bar, or twin or double bed in an air-conditioned room. The rooms will be at Island Jewel Inn or Sundown Gardens. The center is located at Dante's Hide Away Resort. There are many great local restaurants and other great places around to eat and drink, including the very popular Red Pirates sunset bar and many.

What is meditation?

Meditation is discovering our true nature of light within. All life we more or less struggle to make a living and become successful in the material world. In this process we go through all kind of emotions like anger fear sadness frustration and so on. These emotions, we call it lower energies, will be imprinted in our sub consciousness. In time these lower energies will cover up our true source of light within, layer upon layer just like an onion. Now if you try to meditate you will have a hard time just to sit down and experience the light within. You need to discover, meaning un-cover the onion first before you can know the light again. And to do just that we will use different kinds of active meditations, to shake and blow away layer upon layer. The more you go into this active process to get rid of the lower energies, the more your inner light will be set free and meditation happens by itself.

Daily schedule

  • 08:00: One hour yoga on the beach
  • 14:00 - 16:30: Active and passive meditations in the Vessel, meditation shall, in Mandala Spa & Villas
  • 16:30 - 18:00: Fun and sunset meditation on the beach - participation after 16:30 is not a must however
  • 18:00: Dinner on the beach and spiritual talks
  • Samuel Boursier

    Samuel is a yoga and meditation teacher, and a breathwork facilitator. He comes from Paris, France, and has spent most of the last seven years traveling, exploring the inner and deepening his experience of yoga and meditation. He has been trained in Vinyasa Yoga at the FFY, and learned meditation in India at the OSHO International Meditation Resort. He studied Grof's holotropic breathwork and transpersonal psychology in Paris, and went through various shamanic initiations with plant medicines (Iboga, Ayahuasca, Teonanacatl). Now he is back to the Philippines to share his inspiration and love.

Arrival by airplane

The fastest way to Boracay is to fly from Manila to Caticlan Airport in Panay island, arriving at Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (MPH).

There are also many flights to Kalibo, one may also take the Manila-Kalibo flight however, travel time is 1 1/2 hours by bus from Caticlan.

Only relatively small aircraft can land at this airport. Airlines with flights to and from Caticlan are: Cebu Pacific Air from Manila and Cebu, Philippine Airlines and SkyJet from Manila only.

Arrival by ferry

  • An adventurous but more leisurely and romantic way to travel to Boracay is by ferry from Manila to Caticlan or Dumaguit, near Kalibo. Travel time is about 17 hours.
  • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
