La Luna nel Pozzo is a theater housed in a traditional stone "masseria," or farm house, from the mid-nineteenth century; a cultural center nestled among the majestic olive trees in the Puglian countryside near Ostuni. The name expresses a hope for an oasis which can nourish new art forms, creating opportunities for fruitful creative encounters, where one can find the environment, and the time, to realize ones desires.
This center was born in 1999, of the meeting between two actors and an enchanted place. Robert McNeer and Pia Wachter, after 15 years of touring Europe with "Kismet" theater of Bari, recognized, in this corner of the mythical Itrian Valley, a place in which to realize their dream of cultivating theater and the performing arts in a natural environment.
Federica will read through your past to find awareness on what you desire for your future. She will set intentions with ceremonies and ritual, and will find clarity and strength through your practice of yoga, meditation, dance and improvisation.

To start with building the correct base, you will practice a dynamic sequence of Hatha Vinyasa flow focused on:
Alignment, movement and synchronized breathing
Strength and grace

Steadiness and effortlessness
The science of breathing will be your fundamental tool to calm the mind and to awaken your energy force, or Prana. You will also understand the connection between mind, body and emotion.
Devotion and stillness will be your friends to discover your inner source of faith, compassion and gratitude.
Hatha Yoga is the foundation of all yoga styles. It incorporates asanas (postures), pranayama (regulated breathing), meditation (Dharana and Dhyana) and Kundalini (Laya yoga) into a complete system that can be used to achieve enlightenment or self-realization. Hatha is an easy-to-learn basic form of yoga that provides exercise and stress management. Practitioners approach the practice session in a calm, meditative mood, sit quietly for a few moments, then begin the series, slowly, with control and grace, being inwardly aware as they perform the various poses selected for the practice session.
Body soul movement is flowing, spontaneous and fun - while offering the potential for deep transformation, and emotional-mental-physical balancing. It is a journey of healing, experience, joy and creativity. Body soul movement includes:
Intense physical exercise to liberate body and mind from pain, past and reaction
An intensive mind-body work to reach a state of balance
Living the body through movement
Dance and improvisation
Physical theater and voice work
Self-expression - break down the fear of going out of your comfort zone
The Body and soul are full of natural, spontaneous energy, vibration, intuition, and aliveness. There is no judgment or reaction, no expectation or guilt, and no past or future. These natural states of the body and soul are continuous and clear. However, when forgotten or ignored, they are often overcome by any number of things that cause you suffering.
Given space, you become aware of the nature of body and soul. In body soul movement therapy, you will attempt to open that space. You will allow your mind to be silent and your body to let go. Everybody has an internal dance vibrating inside. Dancing stimulates physical, mental and emotional transformation. Through dancing, singing, playing, breathing and touching, you will feed the parts of your body and soul that you have buried, forgot and ignored. In short, you will reveal and awaken their natural states of being.
Through authentic, free movement, you will release the deep tension and limitation that blocks our freedom and vitality. You will shake off the minds heavy burden of past experiences and their associated judgments. You will follow the faith and wisdom of the heart, and accept ourselves without fear - especially the aspects you dislike, dont accept, and often neglect.
Through self expression, you will reach a new form of dialogue and union with yourselves. You will play with yourselves. You will challenge your ego and light up your "story". You will challenge your comfort zone and feel lighter.
You are here to believe in your true self. You are here to shed unnecessary weight. You are here to fully embrace who you are (embody deeply who you are) and feel free.
You are not here to learn any new theory. You have collected so many theories that your minds are asleep, numb and unsatisfied. Your minds have lost elasticity and the capacity to be alert, silent and open to pure creation. It is your mind that rules you, and you can easily become victims of its pitfalls!

Awareness of your own physical body: (anatomy, bone structure, and analysis of movement)

Second, she invites you to rediscover a state of harmony and balance - physically and mentally - and reawaken your inner ability to heal yourself! Healing is an instinctive animal capability that is inscribed in each of you. It is maintaining balance, and that balance is the natural condition and the original condition of all human beings. Lets call this balance a natural state of health.
Disease is the rupture of our balance (physiological - emotional - mental) in the name of chaos. While instinctual, healing and staying healthy is becoming more of an art, or even a labor of love, in this modern culture. It takes attention - love and constant work - careful understanding of yourselves, observing and listening, intuition and awareness. To get there, you will explore the source of your inner energy and how to unblock your physical and emotional afflictions - let's begin with the breath!
Yoga Alliance International (Yoga)
Federica Clemente is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor who has practiced and studied Mysore, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and other forms of yoga. With a background in professional dance, craniosacral therapy, and shamanic healing, Federica brings to her classes, workshops, and retreats a wealth of background information in the mechanics of alignment, dynamic movement, energy flow, and effective healing techniques. Most importantly, she teaches with an attitude of fun, playfulness, and open acceptance.
Eva was born in Augsburg, Germany. She is interested in arts and traveling and studied arts at the Academy of Nuremberg. She has been working as an artist and art teacher in Füssen / Allgäu since 2002. In 2014, she opened the Atelier in Zell. She has also been practicing yoga for many years and completed her first yoga teacher training in 2016, followed by a Yin yoga teacher training in 2017.

Daily brunch and dinner will be provided and included in the price. Visiting La Luna means, first of all, discovering Puglia, being enchanted by the myriad reflections of this hospitable Mediterranean landscape, rich in cultural and culinary traditions.
The Puglian kitchen is famous for its wholesome ingredients, both from the sea and from the earth, simple and flavorful. At The Moon in the Well, you will have the opportunity to sample the dishes of the Puglian tradition - dishes of Mediterranean delight. You will find the colors of the season’s fruits and vegetables, the knowledge of the pastors in the justly-renowned cheeses, olive oils from ancient trees, and artisan sourdough bread made from local, fresh stone-ground flours.
There will be a rental car onsite to visit the many interesting beaches and villages. Those who wish to use the car will share the daily cost, which is approximately 25 euros per day.

Following this road 3.9 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance of La Luna nel Pozzo.
