A three weeks unique course of Art of Adjustment covers adjustment of all postures of primary series of Ashtanga yoga, fundamental principles of hands-on adjustment, detailed alignment of asanas. During the course, students are trained in how to qualify the bodies in terms of applying an appropriate adjustment for all levels of practice and body constitution taking in account individual details of each body. Students are trained to perform a safe and effective adjustment and by the end of the course will be able to work in yoga class.
This program will be interesting for yoga teachers as well as for yoga practitioners as through learning and be practicing adjustment the students improve their personal practice. Being able to adjust yoga postures is a unique skill and it requires special qualification. Adjustment of the yoga poses is meant to bring the body into its highest potential and overcome the obstacles on the path of evolving of the asana.
TAYSP accommodates their guests in a fully equipped house with a comfortable single or double occupancy rooms at Land and House Park close to the Yoga Shala. It's a big private and quiet area in a serene lush tropical setting near the lake.
For the convenience of the guests we provide bicycles to move around the park. The allocation of the houses depends on availability on the moment of booking.
TAYSP is an education and therapy centre and is not responsible for organising tours and excursions. However, their booking manager is always very open to help with some tours arrangements and good tips.
Sofya is studying under the guidance of R. Sharat Jois at Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Institute in Mysore, India - the place where Ashtanga yoga as a set or asana and pranayama practices was systematized and kept preserved. There in Mysore she was also studying Ayurveda, Sanskrit and ancient yogic texts. She was also trained and certified as Asana and Pranayama teacher at Tattvaa Yoga School in Rishikesh, India. As a Yoga teacher Sofya is also registered with Yoga Alliance International. She is known for her warm and light way of teaching yoga, which creates a special atmosphere in her classes.
His passion to personal development brought him to meet and learn from different teachers in Europe, India, Russia, Kazakhstan and Thailand, over the years he has been exploring asana and pranayama practice, kriyas, meditation, ayurveda, reiki, su djok, cold water treatment and art of cooking health food. Rich is famous with warm and personal approach to the teaching of yoga. He is talented with a special natural vision of students needs which allows him to guide them in their practice in a right direction to achieve the best result on their path of yoga.

Students will be very busy with their studies. However, during free time or day off they can go to the nearest beaches, take island tours, or visit Big Buddha of Phuket. Wat Chalong, the biggest Temple Complex in Phuket is just in a walking distance from the Yoga centre.
Students can take massage from our therapist for the extra charge: Traditional Thai massage, oil massage, deep tissue massage, relaxing massage, foot massage. Also body scrub and waxing is available.
