Food

Tattva Yogashala serves two vegetarian and Vegan meals daily, plus a snack with tea during your afternoon break. Please note that there will be no meals provided on your day off. To fully experience the benefits of yoga, you try to keep your stomach empty for practice times. The schedule does not allow more than two meals to be served during the day. You will find that your body will quickly adjust to the two meals as you will be doing a lot of other energizing practices. No one has ever been left starving. You may like to eat outside occasionally.

If so, please let the kitchen know at least one night before the meals are served, as traditional Indian food needs a lot of preparation time. Remember that eating out may increase your chances of getting sick. Sattvic lifestyle is incomplete without Sattvic Bhojan. It is extremely right to say that yogic food can bring huge changes in your life, because this kind of food is organic, and it brings peace to your body and mind.

This food is essential to relieving all the toxicity of your body parts. Tattva Yogashala prepares this food with a blend of yogic and Ayurvedic touches. It is super healthy for you, and it brings a boost of energy to perform daily tasks of life with more ease. If you have a special dietary requirement, please let them know in advance, and they will be happy to ensure that there is a suitable option for you.

They try their best to provide a variety of food and serve mainly a sattvic diet. If you have a particular dietary need, they can exclude milk products, honey, etc. Eggs and meat are not provided. Arrival by airplane

Please arrange your flight to arrive at Jolly Grant Airport (DED). You can book a flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Jolly Grant Airport. Pick up from Jolly Grant Airport is included in the package. The price of the flight ticket varies depending on when you book it. From Dehradun airport the school will book a taxi for you. From the other nearby Aiports also like from Delhi Airport, the school can arrange the pick up for you.

Arrival by bus

You have the option to catch Volvo buses from Delhi to Rishikesh, but be aware that these buses usually cease operations after 9 p.m. The journey covers a distance of 250 kilometers and typically takes around 6 hours. However, delays are common due to traffic congestion, time factors, and occasional festival celebrations along the route

Arrival by train
