During this retreat, you will be staying at the Continental House. It is a beautiful 1920’s guest house, offering comfortable accommodation with open fires and baths.

Program

Join Take Shape Adventures in this hiking and yoga retreat! They are passionate about taken you off the beaten track, and creating positive experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. This adventure is catered for people from many walks of life, age groups, and motivations. It aims to give you the very best of what nature and the outdoors has to offer, leaving you with a smile from ear to ear and a sense of accomplishment.

Activities such as exercises, yoga and meditation sessions, sports and leisure activities, and health and lifestyle coaching are all conducted and guided by qualified health coaches, yoga instructors, and personal trainers who will help you reconnect with nature, set your goals, and restart your health journey. You will also learn to self-release tension and anxiety, and enjoy relaxation sessions which will surely give yourself that extra spark for truly amazing results.

Retreat itinerary

Day 1

Meet at the Continental House from 6 p.m. Find room and enjoy the home cooked dinner followed by the first of the workshops and a yoga and meditation session to help you sleep.

Day 2

Up early to do a sunrise walk followed by morning yoga and workshop afternoon kayak and walk activity that will aim to burn those calories and make you feel energized. Then time for rest and recreational activities, massage, or both. Retreat for an evening of board games. Some workshops on health, fitness, and physical and mental wellbeing will also be included today

Day 3

Morning relaxing yoga with a delicious breakfast, then a short walk followed by some stretching and relaxation.

This retreat will take place in Hepburn Springs and Daylesford, Australia.

Food

You will be served with delicious home cooked nutritional meals throughout the retreat. Vegetarian diets and medically recommended diets (allergies and intolerances) can also be catered for. Please make sure to inform Take Shape Adventures well in advance.

How to get there

Driving directions from Daylesford Railway Station

  • Head northwest on Hill St toward Midland Highway/Raglan Street/A300.
  • After 240 meters, turn left onto Midland Highway/Raglan Street/A300.
  • After 550 meters, continue straight onto Midland Highway/Raglan Street/A300.
  • After 350 meters at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Vincent Street/C138. Continue to follow C138.
  • After 4.1 kilometers, make a sharp left onto Golden Springs Avenue.
  • After 180 meters, turn right onto Lone Pine Avenue. Continue to follow Lone Pine Avenue and after 230 meters, The Continental House will be on the right.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 100% of the total price.
